North American tour announced
8 December 2011 11:59 am
21 dates in America and Canada for 2012

Good morning. We are very pleased to announce that Coldplay will head to North America in 2012 for a string of shows in the USA and Canada.

Tickets go on general sale on Saturday, 17 December at 10am (local time) from 1-800-745-3000, Ticketmaster.com and LiveNation.com. Before that, you can use any American Express card to purchase advance tickets, from Monday, 12 December, at 10am (local time) until Friday, 16 December, at 10pm (local time). The advance AMEX tickets will be available from here for all shows except Portland (here) and Houston (here). NB: The tickets for the two LA Bowl shows will not go on sale until January 2012.

not surprised they are coming back to Tampa...weird they aren't doing Orlando. I've seen them twice in Orlando and the crowds at each show were more receptive to the fellas instead of Tampa.

Good luck on getting tickets everyone...! I had so much trouble getting Radiohead tickets for the same venue a few weeks ago (via Ticketmaster of course).

They played Orlando during their last tour, so maybe thats why... It'll be worth the drive from Orlando, just wish it was on a weekend.

Hopefully they'll add Orlando in somewhere. We even have a nice new shiny arena for them to play in

I'm pretty sure this tour will have alot of add on stops, Orlando will be added somewhere along the way, we have a Brand new Amway Arena that is absolutely beautiful. Tampa, then Miami BIG WEEKEND TRIP!!!

They are coming to Miami, so I will see them here for sure, but I'm thinking about going to Tampa.
I had tickets for the canceled Tampa show. Last time there was a group of Coldplayers getting together at the Venue. I bought some yellow glow sticks (which I still have

) It would be fun if we could get in touch and try to get together again.

Today I was buying some Red Hot Chili Peppers tickets and it was imposible to get good seats. I was there at 10am sharp. The waiting time was 10 minutes and then I was offered tickets in the 400's (way up there). After a few attempts (waiting long 8 minutes each time) I got some "ok" tickets, but nothing near the floor. I hope they don't do the same for Coldplay, I'm worry now, their system is getting worst instead of improving.

It's not you, it's totally bullcrap. Took me forever to find decent seats after like the 30th try for Tampa. Would love to meet some of you guys before the show, maybe grab a drink or something and get our geek on.

Is it better to hold out? I can't believe that I'm only getting section 106 as the best available. What's up with the floor sections? Where are those?! Every Coldplay tour, the same thing....

With that said, Hellooooo Florida Coldplayers! So wrong to make tickets go on sale during Christmas time!
