Coldplay Will is a Champion donor

COLDPLAY'S Will Champion is going to be popular at the school gates over the next few weeks.

The drummer donated a signed guitar to his daughter’s north London school’s summer raffle.

Parents have now started bulk-buying tickets for the lottery to try and win the money-can’t-buy prize. It’s not your average school raffle though – there isn’t a homemade jar of jam in sight.

Other lots include a spa day, a helicopter ride and a Florida break. Tickets are a quid each, but every pupil has to buy at least 20.

A source said: “There has been a mad rush for tickets for this year’s summer fete raffle. It’s a very posh school so there are usually some special prizes, but this is something else.

"All of the dads who aren’t usually interested have been getting their kids to buy more tickets than their usual amount.”

And it’s all going to charidee. They are good eggs, the Coldplay boys.
