Chris Evans just said on Radio 2 that Coldplay are doing 3 gigs in December in Glasgow, Manchester and London, anyone know anything about this?

He could have been talking about Christmas concerts but I haven't heard anything about it yet. It would be awesome if this is true!

My god if this is true I'll be beyond happy! Saw them in Glasgow last December and it was the best night of my life! Hope they announce something soon. Wondering where the gig would be held? SECC seems like the reasonable choice, but then again, a smaller scale show could be held at the Barrowlands. Or maybe they'll go all out and hold it at Hampden. Ahhh too many questions.

If it is at the Manchester arena around the beginning of December, its a pretty packed schedule around then at the arena.

I just listened back and he said they're playing concerts on the following dates:

3 December - Glasgow
4 December - Manchester
9 December - London

Same dates/cities as in 2011 so it would be a major coincidence if the dates/cities would be exactly the same this year.
