I like that song.

Less electronic, more 'a rush' and more 'viva'

I heard Chris say in an interview, maybe the Glastonbury 2011 interview I'm not sure, that he wants to go back to their roots and have it be smaller. Like how MX is so big tour-wise, have it be smaller than that.

I think this next album will be a bit more experimental than say, Parachutes was. Acoustic, yes. I'm sure there'll be a lot of tear jerkers in it too!

They've said that they don't want to redo what they've already done so it's hard to speculate about what their next albums will be since we can't really compare LP6 to any of their previous albums.

If that makes sense :3

It makes sense. I see what you mean. It will be hard to speculate, but until then the sky's the limit. Acoustic mixed with something new, that will end the second trilogy with a bang.

^ I think they might use acoustic a bit like on Viva, it had lots of acoustics guitars, but they weren't the lead part of the song like on LiT, Cemeteries of London, (I think LiJ has too, but there's so much going on it's hard to tell), Yes and Strawberry Swing. That's a bit like Charlie Brown works too... and I like that

It's bizarre now looking back to even think of Parachutes as a Coldplay album, I mean, the albums are all different but that one is SO different, being mainly acoustic apart from High Speed anyway... gawd, High Speed is a COLDPLAY song... sure doesn't seem like it now... anyway, my point is that they already did an experimental-acoustic album in the form of their debut. LP6 I think will be smaller scale, but I'd like to see more of this unusual side of Coldplay; stuff like Lukas, the (possibly fake) Famous Old Painters instrumental, Rainy Day, Up With The Birds, actually, too.

I'd love to hear an album with some songs similar to Lhuna. All with Chris' low range and a semi electronic sound.

I think no matter what they do I'll love it

Chris said in the MusiquePlus interview that they want LP6 to be more acoustic...
Wonder if it'll really happen or it's just as what he said for MX...

Ah, Chris

I really hope LP6 is more acoustic. The past few albums have been so intense and.. different. But I think an acoustic album would be an awesome change.

Hopefully it will be more acoustic. First album took 7 months to record, second 9 months. Oh those were the days

I don't really like the idea of an totally "acoustic" album, but having a couple of songs like Now My Feet Won't Touch The Ground and Prospekt's March would be nice

I'd like an acustic album, but I'd LOVE new love song like Yellow, The Scientist, Fix You, Shiver... I want to sing loud and clear something new

I was thinking about this today.

I'll do my best to describe this. I think LP6 will be similar to what MX was. MX wasn't all pop music. Look at Charlie Brown, UATW, UWTB, those songs aren't pop based. Somewhat.

LP6 I bet will have some acoustic tunes, but will have some half acoustic half something else. Kinda like the tunes from MX. Am I making sense?
