Question Computer isn't reading Cds...

So I burned a few Cds last night and my disk drive was working fine. Then earlier I went to put a new Cd into iTunes, and my computer won't read it. I've tried other disks too. The light blinks and the little CD icon flashes next to the clicker, but the CD doesn't show up in iTunes or My Computer. I've checked the CD drive in device manager and it says its working fine. Any ideas?

I have an Acer Aspire 5515 with Vista Home Basic.

Firstly, restart your comp, sometimes this has happened to me and it's just the computer

If the issue persists... well, if the computer isn't reading it, that would usually indicate the hardware has gone bust, despite what Device Manager says...

This happened to me recently. Was burning three CDs. Two we a-ok, the third was a no-go. My BF is a professional techy, and he told me my drive had gone. Replacement drives are pretty cheap and easy to install.
