Default Might be my favorite song from MX

It may be crazy to some people, but there is something undeniable to me about HLH. I'm a huge fan of the MX era, with the diversity of songs, etc.

I'm mostly posting this because I wanted to see if anyone else loved the song as much as I did - I haven't kept up with the forum since the album dropped because no new music and a lot of hate after it came out.

I thought everyone loved this one among my top 10 favourite songs. It's like an 80's Arcade Fire song!

I usually have trouble choosing my favourite song on a Coldplay album, but HLH is definitely my fav of MX. I absolutely love it. Listening to it has made quite a few days a lot better. I listen to it whether I'm happy or sad. I also think that it has the best lyrics of the album (with UATW).

MX is such a consistently strong album to me - for me, the opening four songs (MX, HLH, Paradise, CB) constitutes probably their strongest ever album opening. HLH is definitely a stand-out song when they perform live as well.

I really hope it's the next single, if there is one.

Its always either been my favourite or tied with up with the birds, depending on my mood. And its 2nd only to Politik as an album opener. Superb live too.

As an opener, I find MX/HLH to be their best, but between Politik & HLH, as songs, I do prefer Politik

I have been a fan since the AROBTTH era, so I've seen three albums come out as a Coldplay fan. For all of them, it's taken me weeks of listening to the albums to fall in love with it. The same happened with Mylo Xyloto, except for Hurts Like Heaven. The very first time I heard that song at Rock am Ring last year, I completely fell in love with it.

It's one of my favorite Coldplay songs ever.

The lyrics make it. When he gets to "So on a concrete canvas under cover of dark." I just perk up. I love the song in every way.

MX + HLH are two of the best songs on the album.

HLH is quite possibly my favorite Coldplay song ever. It's just such a gorgeous song and even more amazing as a concert opener
