It's definitely understandable why people are concerned about the change to Watson's history. You're right; according to the synopsis, she lost her license after one of her patients died. But like I said before, if the writers can make Joan a strong character who overcomes these obstacles and past demons, I'd be okay with the change. Maybe.

The things I'm most interested in are the deductions, Joan, her relationship with Holmes (not necessarily for the romantic aspect or whatever), and Holmes' characterization. Honestly, I'll be happy if this is, at the very least, a decent show. For me personally, it's just really exciting to see a woman of color as one of the lead roles, and I'm hoping Joan will be an awesome character.

I'm seeing Benedict as Victor and JLM as The Creature. Going to try to see the other version too though, but it all depends on timing and such.

It's funny, because I'm least excited about Joan.

I'm probably most interested in seeing how different it is from Sherlock; I always love seeing how different adaptations are.

That's alright! I'm just really intrigued by Joan, but the show will have plenty of different things to interest people. Guess we'll see how it is once the pilot airs.

Very pleased to see Andrew win a Bafta, although I completely don't understand why they failed to see Benedict's brilliance as an actor in his category. He should have won a Bafta ages ago already.
