Red face RIP Robin Gibb

So, I didn't see a thread for this but unfortunately BeeGees co-founder Robin Gibb passed away today at the age of 62 after a long battle with cancer.
http://www.cnn.com/2012/05/20/showbi...ies/index.html

It's a shame, I really love his music. I was really happy when he came out of his coma, but I guess it was just his time. I don't really know what to say other than we'll always have his music. R.I.P man.

Dear Chesse Nip 2,

How is the future? Do they have jet packs? Did gorillas take over the world? Has Car Kids been released yet? If so can you email me a copy from your brain (obviously where data is stored in the future). Well, good luck with those terminators!

Sincerley,

So sad. The Bee Gees made some great music.

Whatever the problem is, I always enjoy watching it get solved before 9pm.

R.I.P. Robin Gibb and THANK YOU for the MUSIC (great ballads in the 1960's and great disco tunes in the 1970's).

I am glad that the thread starter posted some of Bee Gees' hits from the 1960's because otherwise the media concentrate on the band's DISCO PERIOD.

2 great disco performers / names passed away this week: Robin Gibb + DONNA SUMMER.

Extremely sad. I was brought up with his music, and his brothers and him were brilliant songwriters.

He was recently in this British comedy sketch; he also lent backing vocals to the track:

I recently discovered this, which I found hilarious, and remembered what a fantastic song Stayin' Alive is:

And my all-time fave Bee Gees song...

Oh no. The albums do fine but now all the rock awards are going to ed Sherran (who i do not like!) :/

The Bee Gees were an integral part of my childhood. This is a shame.

I just heard about this on the news I was never a fan of the Beegees but I respect that he was a talented musician and influenced so many people. I'm surprised Coldplay haven't done some sort of tribute yet.
