The kids of our after school film program, Paikea Productions, created a video for the StandUp for Kids organization. Their goal is to find and help homeless and at-risk children from around the nation, and we wanted to help raise awareness and to remind people everywhere who is struggling to never lose hope. One of my former students is homeless, and despite the hardships, her family remains optimistic. These are the type of people that if you meet them, you would never think that something was wrong. Do you have a story of hardship, and you managed to persevere through it? We would love to hear about it!
