Today I heard I-tunes Top40, Denmark with the weekly countdown of this week's most downloaded songs:

Only Hope for Haiti-related on the list was a reentry by Beyoncé and Halo on position 29 - the original version. That was all!

The Hope for Haiti Now album debuted at no. 7 on the Danish album chart over sales and downloads.

Tonight Denmark has the annual, televised collection of money for 12 relief organizations. The donations are earmarked for Africa's women knowing that an Africa woman spends 90% of her income on her family and she is performing 60% of the work, but African woman are only receiving 10% of all income on the African continent. Due to the Haiti situation it has been decided that some of the money collected will go to Haiti as well.

So far Danes have donated 50 mio Danish Kroner for the relief effort in Haiti. And it has been decided that the relief organizations are not to pay value added tax on the donations which has been the case previously.

EDIT: Sunday 31.1.10: The total amount collected Saturday evening was record-high DKK 130 mio.

For those of you in the U.S. with Comcast cable, go to the free on-demand music section... the entire H4HN event is on there! And it's separated by each performance, so you can watch you-know-who over and over and over and over again in HD on your big ol' tv screen! yyyyyyyaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy! It's only available for one week, but I'm not complaining.

I haven't looked around too much, but has there been any discussion about what was written on Chris' guitar? It looks like a combination of doodling and words with red and blue and maybe green marker, but I don't really want to take the time to press play pause play pause and stare at the tv for hours just to figure it out. Just thought I'd check to see if someone else already figured it out. I'm guessing that's likely how the red marker ended up on his arm.

^ Which might be why Chris' jacket isn't going for as much as I thought it would... there's only a few hours left and the price hasn't really gone up that much in the past 5 days. I mean, 7600 GBPs is a lot of money, but I thought it would be going for MUCH more. I'm tempted to wake up a few minutes before the auction ends so I can see how high (or not high) it goes in the last moments.
