Talking Warning Sign Acoustic Help

HEY COLDPLAYERS!!
Alright so my friend and I are huge Coldplay fans and since he's really good at playing the guitar and I can play the piano and the guitar as well, we thought well we should do all the covers that we can do. Right now, we're working on the songs from A rush Of Blood To The Head and the next song we're doing is "Warning Sign".
We are gonna play two versions, one of them will be the guitar and I'm gonna play some piano chords in the backround. The other cover, its gonna be 2 guitars just like in this video, well without Guy and Will though:

I'll be playing Chris' part but my friend is playing Jonny's but we have no idea what are the chords or how he's doing that cool sound.
Any help is appreciated, we just wanna know how he's doing it.

Oh and we need your support for our videos, we don't have many views and you, the viewers are the only way we can keep making vids. I understand if you dont like my voice, im sorry i had a little cold and I had to sing loud so we could barely hear it. the next vids are taking place at a studio so the quality is gonna be way better. Our YouTube username is ColdKovers.

THANKS FOR EVERYTHING!!!!

custom tuning : EADGBD
Capo 3rd fret
Thats the album version, but we can't figure out how Jonny is doing his thing..
Thanks

c'mon, jonny ain't doin' nothin' difficult, righ'?

easy there, what you hear in the intro and in one of the verses is this:
B|--5h7-5h7-5h7------------------------------
G|--------------------6h7-6h7-6h7-6h7-6h7

he's continuing that for some time, if your guitar player is that good as you say, he'll know when.
(if you don't know: h = hammer on; jonny only strikes the 5 and 6)

chorus (better do it as in the sessions, well, i don't have the album song here to compare, however, @AOL he does the following)

B|-------------17---17------------17---17-------------17-------------17---17------------17---17-------------17
G|--18----18---18-----18----18---18-----18----18---------------------------------------------------------------
D|----------------------------------------------------------------19----19---19-----19----19---19-----19----19

B|-------------17---17------------17---17-------------17-------------17---17-------------17---17-------------17
G|--18----18---18-----18----18---18-----18----18------16----16---16-----16----16---16-----16----16
D|--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

(of course it is repeated. 2nd time until the last past begins...)

there is an easier version to play this. however, the lead guitar doesn't have to be tuned somewhat different, all standard tuning

e|-------------12---12------------12---12-------------12--------------12---12------------12---12-------------12
b|--14----14---14-----14----14---14-----14----14-------10----10---10-----10----10---10-----10----10

e|-------------12---12------------12---12-------------12---------------12---12------------12----12-------------12
b|--14----14---14-----14----14---14-----14----14-------12----12---12-----12----12----12-----12----12

with your "special" tuning, you'd have to play the 14 on the high d string

btw: it's Capo on 2nd fret, not 3rd

for chris's part its normal tuning, capo on 2, you basically slide the same chord up and down the fretboard, its on ultimate-guitar.com andon the album jonny uses an e-bow
but on that vid he's just plucknig

you sure bout the ebow? well, makes sense if i think about it... though it doesn't matter a lot... at the proper concerts (at least in 05/06) he's not using one either for WS.

oh, btw:
capo on 2nd, then sliding with the open C major chord

im sure about the ebow on the album version, because you dont hear plucking, but they play it differently live, like at glastonbury, there was a lot of xtra stuff
