I'll probably get stoned for this, but I think he looks old because he's too thin right now. It makes his face look gaunt and I usually associate that with men getting older. If he put on just a couple pounds I think it would work wonders.

didn't watch last nights brits, but just watched coldplays performance and have to say was a little underwhelmed by it! I think the brits is done in too big of a venue, I really don't think we do awards ceremonies very well at all!

Chris Martin joining Noel Gallagher was easily the least terrible thing Chris has done musically within the past year. And Elbow, Arctic Monkeys, and Kasabian have all been far superior to Coldplay in the last year, which is why we must take these fan-voted awards with a grain of salt.
...oh crap, this isn't the WoM section? :facepalm: My apologies. What I meant to say was how terrible it is that they didn't win best album as well as win all the categories they weren't nominated in too. And also that Jonny's butt is cute, or some fangirl thing like that. |
Well, that's not remotely offensive to some of us who CAN have an intelligent conversation.
If you've read back through the thread you'll see that there are varying opinions as to the quality of the band/performance. But yes, musically, Chris' duet with Noel was one of his better musical moves lately. MUCH better than Rihanna. Really? Jonny has a cute butt? I'm about his biggest fan around these parts and I hadn't even looked. Guess it's because I'm in it for the music,lol.;) |
