At least it was Adele who won. Nothing would be as worse as Coldplay losing to Katy Perry.

like LMAO

Twisted mind 21-02-2012 09:55 PM

Cut Adele off because Blur talked too long before, how unfair! :/

A nation of children look at their parents in horror and say "THIS was music in your day? and you say what I listen to is just noise"

A middle aged, upper class gent on stage in an anorak making monkey noises - golden.

Nikola 21-02-2012 09:56 PM

GIRLS WHO ARE BOYS
WHO LIKE BOYS TO BE GIRLS
WHO DO BOYS LIKE THEY'RE GIRLS
WHO DO GIRLS LIKE THEY'RE BOYS

Mrk 21-02-2012 09:56 PM

Adele is so overrated :\

Blur anyway!

viva-la-coldplay 21-02-2012 09:57 PM

Although MX didn't win, still proud of our boys!
Great performance, speech went well, they're all looking perfect as per usual and we were treated to that lovely presentation of the album - all in all a good night!

filiprasmusson 21-02-2012 09:57 PM

Wow, Blur's performance was really shitty.... Sorry, but that's my opinion.. :)

THIS :nod::D

filiprasmusson 21-02-2012 09:58 PM

This one is good though!
But I don't think the lead singer is a good live singer, at least not this time.

Nikola 21-02-2012 09:59 PM

WOO HOO!

I just got into Blah again.

נєѕυѕσηα¢нσρρєя 21-02-2012 09:59 PM

Where was the Cliff Richard/Prodigy collaboration of Smack My Devil Woman Up?
Robbed!

R23 21-02-2012 09:59 PM

WHOOHOOOHH.

Song 2, still an awesome tune. Although I'm not really liking it live, I have to say.

Halomah 21-02-2012 09:59 PM

I loves the performance they were beyond amazing and when they won i thought i was gonna explode when WILL thanked the fans i cried and Chris on the piano was AWESOME am so happy am shaking and i have this smile on my face that can't bewiped I LOVE COLDPLAY proud to be a COLDPLAYER !! :laugh3: :laugh3: :laugh3:

shesawsparks 21-02-2012 09:59 PM

PARKLIFE!!

James. 21-02-2012 10:00 PM

Parklife! This is one of the greatest songs of the 90s :awesome:

Lauriane 21-02-2012 10:00 PM

The Brits are like seriously good awards... Had a lovely time !

jeremyy 21-02-2012 10:00 PM

one day coldplay will perform like that :wacky: (i mean in that category )

howyousawtheworld 21-02-2012 10:01 PM

I really like Blur but Girls & Boys and Song 2 is about the two worst songs they could have chosen. They could have done The Universal!

Parklife is good but Damon's just making this look like a drunken karaoke session.

נєѕυѕσηα¢нσρρєя 21-02-2012 10:01 PM

Phil is on stage as the character Kevin he played in Eastenders, his usual demeanour is more akin to Stephen Fry

jeremyy 21-02-2012 10:01 PM

who is this man ?

busybeeburns 21-02-2012 10:01 PM

this was supposed to be a classic Brits moment but it's dreadful!

oaceis 21-02-2012 10:01 PM

Hey hey hey hey d'you think they'll do PoC? ALBUM VERSION not some lame sitting-by-the-fire-version.

MosesTheMarshmallow 21-02-2012 10:03 PM

The Noel-Chris duet was not as good as I was hoping...Chris was more ornamental than he could've been. Now if it had been JUST Noel and Chris (no supporting band) or perhaps Noel and Coldplay. That would've been ace. :(

Or Noel and Chris doing POC.

Londonerr 21-02-2012 10:03 PM

Blur set continues on ITV2 :)

busybeeburns 21-02-2012 10:04 PM

I'd rather watch the news!

James. 21-02-2012 10:04 PM

They cut off the end of Parklife :(

Indeed! Very decent awards. People who actually deserved (I'm quite biased of course because I don't know 100% of the nominees etc) won and most of the performances were very, very good.

I'm not a Blur fan, those are 2 out of 3 songs I know. :D But they're out of shape or something.

Well no one performed more than one song. They opened the show and did that. That was pretty much an honor.

R23 21-02-2012 10:05 PM

Really enjoyed the Brits, much more than the Grammy's actually.

Well, I'm off, it's time to watch some Champions League highlights.

Goodnight all :)

gerben 21-02-2012 10:06 PM

I must say: I haven't seen Blur live before. But this doesn't sound like it's an outstanding contribution...

shesawsparks 21-02-2012 10:07 PM

Tender. Complete with a gospel choir. Now THIS is more like it.
