I'll hope that for you too, I'll be there around 2-3 I think:D

Joszwa 15-12-2011 05:21 PM

We'll be there around 2.. And dressed warmly according to the weather forecasts :D

ilovechriss 15-12-2011 05:40 PM

By the way, to the people who are going by car: have you bought parkingtickets at the Ahoy-site? Is it wise to do that?

Blue Nails 15-12-2011 06:12 PM

^We haven't, but we're going pretty early. I don't know, if you want to be sure you have a good spot, near the entrance, you should do it.

On the other hand, it's more expensive and they'll probably have enough parking places, right?

ilovechriss 15-12-2011 06:16 PM

 It's more expensive I guess...

That's the one question that I cannot answer. I guess you have enough parking sports, but I wanna be there around 6:30/7pm so I can have a somewhat decent parkspot and enough time to walk around in the Ahoy for a bit:D

ilovechriss 15-12-2011 06:33 PM

I'm soo happy I got seats, and good ones! So I don't have to rush to have a nice spot..

Yeah especially with this weather. Lots of respect for the people who will stand there in line no matter what! I'll skip it this time;)
Never sat down for a Coldplayconcert yet, so i have no idea what to expect. I'm doubting that I'll be sitting a lot:laugh3:

Gonna drive my mom crazy with my fanness, I'm sure:sneaky:

Hello 2 (maby stupid) questions

Where is the artist entrance @ ahoy? &
Howlate does the band always arrive at the gig?

Blue Nails 15-12-2011 09:49 PM

^I wonder why you'd want to know that... :sneaky:
I have no idea. Somewhere in the afternoon?

RobinMulder 15-12-2011 10:27 PM

My super secret plan to kipnap Coldplay and put them in my basement

Or maby just a photo and a autograhp :escaping:
and if they want to play DLIBYH

Someone did this before waiting for them to arive at a gig? Howlate did they arrive?

LoversInJapan 15-12-2011 10:32 PM

I never did, so i don't know the answer, sorry!
I guess they arrive just before dinnertime, because they pretty much always have dinner =)
Perhaps even earlier to soundcheck etc.

I want DLIBYH toooo, I would jump on top of my seat if they will:laugh3:

Edit: I wonder if someone would be so kind to grab some confetti for me and send it to me after.. I'll pay for the postage!
Just saw that they apparantly have all kinds of confetti now and I don't think I'll be able to get something since I have seating spots.

jordey24 16-12-2011 06:56 AM

Anyone know how long the queue will be tomorrow? Should i try to get there rediculously early to make sure i can get a nice place to watch the show or will i be fine? Never been to a Coldplay concert before.

I think if you want front row, be there in the early afternoon. If you just want a good spot, around 5pm should be ok... Especially since the weahter sucks, most people come when doors open I think. But I'm not sure, so don't quote me. ;)

I will also be there around that time, or maybe an hour later. I want to be totally in front!;p

jackparker 16-12-2011 11:22 AM

Gonna have a wild guess at a 'realistic' set list based on Cologne last night :P

Mylo Xyloto
Hurts Like Heaven
Yellow
In My Place
Major Minus
Lost!
The Scientist
Violet Hill
God Put A Smile Upon Your Face

Up in Flames
Shiver
Us Against the World

Politik
Viva La Vida
Charlie Brown
Life is for Living
Paradise

Encore:
Clocks
White Christmas (Bing Crosby cover)
Fix You
Every Teardrop is a Waterfall

Yes indeed, they always did didn't they? Although I would prefer hearing Shiver because I heard Trouble 2 times already and Shiver none.

True, I'm hoping they hold shiver in their setlists. They didn't play in here since 2002. Maybe, a little bit maybe they play amsterdam. But I think that's not gonna happen. Would be amazing tho.

jackparker 16-12-2011 04:03 PM

If they already played Trouble twice in Holland they probably won't tomorrow, I really hope they play Shiver again, and Politik better be included because it's so epic live!

I'm gonna get there for 6:15 seeing as I have a seating place, i'll try and take a lot of pictures so I can show you here :D I'm trusting my neighbour to use his phone wisely seeing as mine is broken ;)

R23 16-12-2011 04:45 PM

Only one day left! So excited. Tried to stay away from the setlist as much as I could, without much success btw, but I'm also hoping for Christmas Lights. And Trouble would be amazing too.

I think I'll be there around 4pm, hoping for a good spot. And hoping the weather isn't as bad as predicted.

When it's 19:40 on my phone, yeah =p
And it's now 18:40 on my phone

We'll talk about it after if it was a success =D

TehM1ZZL3 16-12-2011 05:51 PM

they must play amsterdam because it is dutch and I hope they still play What If like they did with the first concerts in UK this month.

R23 16-12-2011 05:55 PM

Peter Timofeef, the Dutch weather guy, said in Editie NL that tomorrow the weather will be not as stormy as expected. He even spoke about sun.

Well, I heard Shiver 2 times already and Trouble none. So, it would be great if they played Shiver in Amsterdam tomorrow and Trouble in Antwerp the day after tomorrow. Everybody happy.

I'll be happy if they play in Rotterdam tomorrow. :P

LoversInJapan 16-12-2011 07:13 PM

IŽll be happy if they will play DLIBYH and LIJ/Strawberry Swing instead of In My Place and Lost!

That would be soooooo awesome, but 90% chance that they won't do that.

I know.. I guess it'll stay a daydream:(

On the other hand, I had a dream last night that we organised that the front row people had A4 paper with the DLIBYH logo on it. So they did play that song, because they saw it.:sneaky:

hihicoldplay 16-12-2011 08:45 PM

Ok, so excited for tomorrow, especially since this is my first Coldplay concert!
Anyone knows at what time I should be there to get a good spot? I don't have to be at the front row, but just a good spot, haha!

Welcome to the board!

Me and my friends will be at Ahoy around 4pm. I think this is early enough for a good spot. At least, I hope so. :P
