Well it all stated with Yellow being played non-stop in 2000 and 2001. Since then I like them. However I only heared Parachutes untill X&Y came out. (I dont know how AROBTTH passed me by but I'll get to that later) Anyway I got X&Y as soon as I noticed that I came from the same people that made Parachutes. So then I thought. "How come it took 5 years to make their second album. So I did a little researching on wikipedia (Now I myslef edit the coldplay articles there because I want to get the Coldplay article itself to Featured article status and on the main page for a day) and found out the they already had a second album. I got it that same day. So then on I had this obsession with their music. (I have all their b-sides and all the unreleased songs exept for the ones that have never been played live or recorded) I think that I have about 200+ of their songs. (This all happened in mid 2007) So since then I have been up to date with all of their releases. As for the songs Clocks ect. I heard them when they were released but I didnt know that they came from the same band untill I bought AROBTTH. Funny how I got all their albums in a mixed up order.
I love St Stephen, but I'll never be able to play piano as well as Chris! For me, Viva la Vida got me into them, and I did some research. It's weird, I'd heard earlier songs like Clocks and Speed of Sound and really enjoyed them, but it had never really registered that they were all by Coldplay. So, I guess you could say I've been a fan for awhile. How about you?
Wow, I haven't been a real fan since last summer. Shame really. Yeah, the demos weren't very good, but that's why they're demos right? They were catchy though! As for the others, we'll just have to wait for the next album, I guess.
