continuing from the last thread, my trainer has me switch it up quite a bit. there's a lot on my program, but for something like squats I'll typically do 85% of my max, 4 reps x 6 sets
the next workout, 80% 6x6
next, 75% 10x6 (which kinda sucks)
do you just find the motivation to lift weights on your own? do you have a trainer? It's required for skiing, so we'll lift weights 3 times a week and have 5 other sessions of sprints or bike sprints or LSD or what have you. kinda took over my life, but it's not like it's bad for me, I suppose!
