Nooo way you're not dumb. Felt the same way until I started going to high school and I realized how stupid so many people are hahah
I mean, that's very mean to say but it's true, I worry for these people who don't have a plan for their future

I feel exactly the same way. I want to get a job in social work or sociology or something. But I also like math and science and I feel like it would be a "waste" of my cleverness if I didn't do something like that, if that makes sense.
I don't think it's bad enough that I'm gonna do something I don't like, I'm just unsure that I really love it.

I think you made the right choice though. I think that you like what you do. And then you get to also dabble in writing and possibly have a successful career in it, without being a "starving artist" or something.

Or you could publish a collection of them
