First I have to say: I'm sorry it took so long!

and then I have to thank you for sharing your tape with me and
even for asking me for a review... wich you shouldn't have!!

third I loved it! Very nice songs and to be sincere I just knew one!
and i loved the title of it

SO to the review:
The War Was In Technicolor
1. Loog
Nice song to start...has no lyrics so it kinda announces things to come...and I liked that the woman doesn't sing
at all..
2. Games Without Frontiers
A light beated song.I liked this one too, you've made a nice link between this song and the first, it is a very
calm song but in the same time very meaningfull. It seems like a critic to war and even to nationalism
characteristic from wars...I love it because it is not obvious and I love history meaningfull lyrics.
3. Moonlanding
Another slow song...it feels like you are making it in a progression...I like the guitar in it and how the singer
sings very calmly...also has nice lyrics!
4. In The Dreamlife You'll Need A Rubber Soul
The thing that I most liked about this song was the lyrics! It says a lot about our lives in society plus the
melody is very calm too...it goes with the song.
5. Daddy's Gone
Nice progression...now the songs are becoming more "heavy" and againg lyrics that really moved me!

so till now
everything is in a good harmony good slow songs with nice and meaningfull lyrics.
6. Sultans Of Swing
I've always liked this song, is Dire Straits and the guitar is great! a "classic" one.
7. The Girl And The Robot
I must say I like this kind of music and this is a very nice remixed song. And the transition was good you put some slow songs and now a remixed song...
8. Musik Fur Alle
Though I like this song I think it is a little out of place, in this moment at least. maybe at the end of maybe you did that because you had one song without lyrics in the beggining and one at the end. I like this type of songs.
9. Powder Blue
I'll probably have this song in my wedding if I ever get married! I'm proud to be the one you hold when the shakes begin is a great line...and the rythm is very slow and makes it a very nice song for that purpose! though the transition was not totally perfect...
10. Sugar Mountain a Folk song (?) I don't like this style of music though....but it is a nice song and it fits perfectly on this list.
11. Majesty
It's a song similar to Sugar mountain when it comes to the way it is played...slow and calm...but the lyrics are awesome!
12. Walkaway
Very catchy song...I like Franz Ferdinand songs... little depressive but very rocky...I liked it...
13. Genius Next Door
Probably my favorite song, I love that she's singing and she has only a piano with her most of the time...
14. The Bones Of You
another great song but the lyrics are the most interesting part of it...Till now the lyrics are great to me.
15. The Aquarium Now I realize that I also know this one..quite interesting and there's no voice in it...I think they use it in some movies!
16. Black Rainbow though I don't get why it is in here I love this song...
17. For Emma nice guitar at the begining, then many voices singing...then the singer sings very simple but strong and bitter lyrics..I like it...good choices!
18. Opus 36 I already told you I love this song right..since the Marie Antoinette movie I can't stop listening to it and I LOVED you put it here! nice song.
19. Leaders Of The Free World Another one from elbow...wich I also like..a nice questioning life lyric...follows the logic of the other songs and I can sau that I like it a lot...
20. The War Was In Color
the song that names the tape! nice singing and guitar kind of rocky song....it really seems like and ending song!Lyrics are superb and made me think a lot of what many of our society and at what costs we live our confortable lives...makes me cry here: Now I lay in my grave at age 21
Long before you were born
Before I bore a son
What good did it do?
Well hopefully for you
A world without war
A life full of color.

beautiful ending.
I loved that in some subjective way you meant to say something by choosing this songs...they are not only about rythm...kind of pop sometimes but good songs!
I loved them and I'm glad you presented most of them to me!

thanks again and I'll be looking foward another tapes from you!
