Well, like i said, this summer or anytime this year is quite impossible for me but summer 2011... I'm being 100% serious, Dee...I mean, I've done my research and such...

Here's what I've gathered... round trip prices from JFK in NYC to Reykjavik in Iceland (and back) are $1593.60 but that's for 2 people... about $800 per person
The prices from where we're actually located to NYC are gonna vary, of course, yours might be a bit pricier since you're farther away... but like for me, from LR to NYC it's $305

So I'm already looking @ roughly $1200 and that's not including of course, hotels, food, +spending money on the trip

If that was true, trust me i wouldn't even think of making plans to go out of state x____X
I graduate next year So I still have a good 17 months it can happen if I really want it, and yes, I agree, my parents are like that as well... I don't get anything handed to me on a platter.... I work hard for what i have.

I was actually thinking of raising enough money to get me to Iceland after I graduate HS... my little "Good job, Ivet, get the hell outta this place and go live your life" type thing

It's quite expensive though, but maybe if i get a little piggy bank and work my ass off the next year and a half (including summers)... it can happen!!)
