The paperback version of the book has an extra chapter he added after he was heavily criticized by other Lincoln historians, and he answers all their criticisms (but mostly makes fun of them for resorting to ad hominem). It's a riot.

If you ever get the chance, buy "The Real Lincoln" by Thomas DiLorenzo. It will really make you change your opinion about the Civil War... he's not a Confederate sympathizer, just an economist and libertarian. So his book is a very level-headed and unemotional look at Lincoln's decisions during his presidency. And he also tackles the slavery issue, which was fascinating (did you know more than a dozen countries ended slavery peacefully between 1800 and 1846?).
