Don't feel bad.
Somebody said this once, that there is no war that didn't get to Serbia. Well what can we do, we're in the middle of all roads.
I like to listen to the stories and read them. We learn a lot in our history class about those wars. I find it interesting too, tho I'm not very good at history (I have excellent grades, but I don't really know many details).
And hey! Tomorrow will be 10 years since the bombardment back in 1999 began. That wasn't really a war, but still. I was 4 and knew nothing, and I was damn scared. Sometimes we had to go to our basement when the alarms turned on, a lot of times I was in my pajamas. The bridges got crushed in my city. The windows in my flat broke one day when one of the bridges went down, because I live on the riverside. Sad memories, really. I didn't know why it was all happening. And now, still, I don't know why such bad things happen. I don't know what did I do, what was my fault to bring those airplanes to my city, to hear those bombs crushing...
Okay, I'll stop. But whenever you want me to tell you about something related to Serbia, just let me know, I'll be glad to help.
