You might be right, but the current state may change. Popular movements first are necessary without a doubt, and then generally States begin to adopt changes, followed by the Federal Government. But the idea may be a good one, when there is sufficient popular and thus political support.
I disagree though about your assertion that the entire idea of amending the constitution, or curtailing the undue influence of money in the elections process, is ridiculous. The undue influence of money is a long-standing problem and has corroded our democracy severely, limiting the will of the citizens to control what is supposed to be a government of, by, and for we, the people.
And then so what is your solution? To be reticent on the matter at large is not a sufficient answer, and to assuming change is impossible is to ignore the history of amendments to the U.S. constitution. Think about what you feel would work, and then give me an honest answer.

I think I've actually found a solution to that now. Hm.
It's cos... I should make sure my hands are clean before taking them off, then before I eat, then again before putting them on (and I'm not sure I'd like putting them on if there's some food leftovers in my mouth xD), and after that too, and I also need to put them somewhere.
