Wow, what was Space School like? That was in Houston, right?
That's sounds, really, really great Downhill, right? I love skiing.

Was ok, went to the States and went to a few concerts. Including 2 Butties (Beatles tribute band) concerts

Yeah, you said you were going in The Beatles thread How was it? What did he play? Does he still have it?

okay, here's the scoop. you have been deprived of my wondrful presence because:
in may and june I had to finish Chemistry and write my Diploma exams. and then in July I was doing fitness training (for ski racing) and theeeeen I went to the United Space School in Texas, and then I went to New Zealand to ski for 3 weeks! Now I've just been settling back into senior year at school (without a laptop because I lost it on the plane) and here I am going back to New Zealand to ski on friday.

    *whew* yeah.

but it's nice to know someone was wondering where I was! how was your summer?

I WENT TO SEE PAUL MCCARTNEY IN CONCERT IN KANSAS CITY @$%@#$%@#$^#^@

    Oh, and <<<
Oh, yes, Yossi He's pretty funny.
No, it's a book/radio/tv series from the 70's and 80's by Douglas Adams They made a movie a few years back which is crap, it's made after he died.
Famous for having the meaning of life as being 42, for the advice: Don't Panic!, and for Marvin, the Paranoid Android
    Great british humor

I just saw Across The Universe and was dissappointed So many clichees

Oh those are all definitely some of my favourites
I laugh whenever I see this one ---> because this one guy, Yossarian, always used to use it and it just seemed funny... this angry european-sounding guy (who no one thought was real but he was f*ckin hilarious) was using this cute little smiley to express his anger.

I've never seen Hitchiker's Guide To The Galaxy! there's radiohead music in it, I'm assuming? and I still haven't seen Across The Universe. everyone raves about it, and I've tried to rent/buy it so many times but it never works out

okay I'm getting used to Mr. Kite... but still don't like She's Leaving Home. It's just so melancholy. Right now I cannot stop listening to Roll Over Beethoven, and I'm trying to figure it out on guitar. do you play an instrument?. oh and I love I'm Only Sleeping and I'm So Tired right now. I have a theme of being chronically exhausted at the moment.

I also like and Oh, and

The humor's a little tough Very british, and fun when it works out for Ricky, but otherwise You could try one.

I live in Northern-Norway but I'm from a little all over including New England.
Don't have that here not many good channels.

I'm a big fan of The Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy so that makes it extra awesome for me. That's what started it all.
Idioteque is amazing, btw, I really love that song. So paranoid
It's Muse' a little over-the-top side Enjoyable still. Kniggits of Cydonia is my second favorite Muse song after New Born.

It's not that I don't like them, it's just not The Beatles best side. And Being For The Benefit of Mr. Kite is awesome :snob: but the other two...I sat reading the lyrics while listening to She's Leaving Home the other day, though that made it good.

I'd go Help!, Magical Mystery Tour, Let It Be....and then Idk

Really?! you don't like those albums! well, there are a lot of dud songs on the White Album. but some great great songs. most of them tale a lot to love though.
aaand Sgt. Pepper's could take a bit to love too. I didn't LOVE it at first. and then I read all these articles talking about how revolutionary it is and kinda went, oh yeah, they're right. I still had to get used to it though. and still don't like She's Leaving Home or Mr. Kite or Good Morning, Good Morning

I guess for me the order would go Revolver, Rubber Soul, Help, A Hard Day's Night, Abbey Road, Magical Mystery Tour..... actually never mind, I feel bad if I rank them and keep changing my mind

I know. it's one of my favourites, along with and of course,

Oh do you reccommend watching it? I wonder if they air it in Canada... hey, I forgot to ask you, where are you from? whenever I find time to watch tv I usually like to watch Spectacle: Elvis Costello With... It's a really cool show where Elvis interviews lots of musicians, and they perform lots of songs. There's an episode with Bono and the Edge that I still haven't gotten to watch

Oh I quite like Paranoid Android. Maybe it wouldn't be as hard to like RH as I thought, so long as I forced myself to listen to it for a long period of time. and I trust you on Blackholes and Revelations! I hear lots of good things about that album.

oh yes I also really like
    it's a good smiley.

Well Elbow tops the list but also Lightning Dust, Bon Iver, some classical, Coldplay (naturally ). A lot of artists/bands I listen to have their mellow side <--that is a great smiley.

Extras is a british TV series with Ricky Gervais, about people who work as extras in movies.
Every episode they have a celbrity playing themself or a parody of themself. I think Chris was in one It's really embarassing to watch sometimes, though.
I only have Franz' first album but I'm deffinatly gonna get the two newer ones and Blood
Yeah, I know It took me a long time to like Radiohead. I had to buy their greatest hits album I think Paranoid Android is their best. Muse are easier, Blackholes And Revelations is quite easy to like.
    Elbow are alternative/Indie

Yup I'm the only one in my family who likes Come Together.
Well, to each our own I'm not a big fan of all their Sgt. Peppers and White Album stuff.
