They can fix the car!!! Yay! It's going to be a while before the parts come in and also until they can take it to actually do the work. So until then, I have a broken bumper and taillight

My Valentine's Day was good! I went downhill skiing with my dad and my sister. It was pretty fun. And my sister and i watched The Stepfather...it wasnt that great, but it was entertaining enough for one night And I got tons of chocolate from my mom And two books, because she owns a bookstore
Other than that, I've been pretty good! My busy band week is over so now I feel like I have nothing to do How have you been?

Parties are always fun! Well...usually. And presents are awesome!! Is there anything you are hoping to receive?
Yup the concert is tonight I had to help set up after school too, and no one showed up to help load the truck It was me and my friend and the teacher!! Except then three guys (one of which I have been in love for 3 years!!) came and helped once we got to the place where the concert is. AND I TALKED TO HIM!! Cause I had to leave early to take my car in to get it checked at the car repair place (to see if damage costs matched up with the insurance company's assessment) and there wasn't a clock in the room and I didn't have my phone. So I was like "Adam, do you happen to know what time it is?" but I must have been really quiet cause he didn't hear me and had to ask me to repeat myself But then he was like "Oh yeah, for sure. *checks phone* It's 4:39." And then I said thanks and scuttled off
Anyway that story was not necessary but I've never had that long of a convo with him before so it's exciting!
Gahhh yes it has been an awkward situation! I dont know the guy at all. And this morning I had to go to the police station to report the accident because damages were over $1000....they were $4700!! So I don't know what's gonna happen. Because they might not want to pay for all the repairs at the insurance company, in which they consider the car "totalled" and will auction it off and give us a few thousand dollars to get a new one...rather, a used one because they don't really give you that much money. And my dad loved that van so he'll be really upset if they take it.
But hopefully they can just fix it and we can keep it.

Hmm what is new with me? Well, I have a jazz concert tomorrow morning (trying to recruit grade 8s to come to my school for our awesome band program!) and Wednesday morning a concert band rehearsal. I'm not even in concert band anymore, just jazz and wind ensemble. But my teacher says he wants me to play with concert band for the trip because the other baritones suck and I will make them sound good Yay for 9 weeks of 7:30 am rehearsals!
Annnddd a jazz concert on Thursday night. And piano on Thursday morning.And honour band all day Friday and Saturday ending with the honour band concert on Saturday in the late afternoon! Wow, I am SUCH a band geek!
AND today when I was driving to school, I was stopped waiting for my turn to enter the traffic circle (I was stopped at a yield sign) and a guy from my school smashed into me in his truck. It totally smashed the left taillight on my car (well,it's my parents' van I guess) and the bumper is crushed and there's a huge dent on the trunk. It was really scary, so I just spent the afternoon panicing about telling my dad. Luckily it wasn't my fault, so the insurance company pays for the damage and the guy who hit me pays the deductible. But I had to go over to the kid's house with my dad and talk to him and his dad. and I have to go to the autopac place on wednesday at lunch to fill out forms and get the damage assessed and everything. So my busy week just got busier!

Hmm School was hard today. I'm still waiting for my call from highschool. I went shopping this weekend and got a bathing suit for my birthday. My birthday is in 10 days. I want to see Valentines Day on the 14 with my friends who have been nicer to me lately. I reallyyy want to see Dear John! Omg that movie looks amazing.! Will prob watch it in two weeks though I've been really happy lately. I can't stop thinking though.

I'm pretty good...glad it's the weekend! Even though I only have 2 classes...and one of them is gym! But February and March are the busiest months of the year for band stuff so I'm preparing for that
