I just heard that Coldplay are playing at a benefit party where you can watch the grammy's on tv in nyc. also pete yorn and whoopi goldberg and wyclef jean. tickets are $50 but its a benefit for something - save the music i think. here is the link with more info if u r interested - of course it's thru ticketmaster.

This is a viewing party and I'm concerned that they may only be displaying the show and not actually playing live. Any news?

Coldplay WILL be playing acoustic at this party. After the Grammy's end, Coldplay will head on out of MSG the arena and into MSG the theater and play for all of us that watched them perform and win on the grammy awards show. :-D
