NEED HELP: I want to celebrate my 21st birthday "Coldplay" style/theme.. Any ideas?

Hello all you lovely Coldplayers... I'm planning my 21st birthday a little ahead of time cause I wanted to some how bring Coldplay into it and make their music kind of the theme... well a part of it.

I'm not having a big blow out... but I wanted to somehow incorporate them as sort of a theme for my birthday... and at the same time a tribute to them..

Nothing dirty please.. I'm not like that... I'm also not a drinking, cocktail, dance club party kind of person either... I'm a art, poetry, book worm, eco-friendly, vegetarian, nature loving person. So I figure maybe you guys will help me come up with ideas.. :) Thank you to all who reply..

Glow in the dark paint, like the dancers in the CB video would be fun. You could also decorate graffiti style. If either of those are too hard you could always do a coldplay themed cake.

I'd try to get an MX-inspired birthdaycake! Or little customized cupcakes for each guest.. just include as many colors as possible!

Graffiti on the walls or band posters, or paint everything around like the Viva artwork...and have a guitar near by to play some songs after you have listened to all the albums while talking and drinking some beer.

I thought of the idea to get a really large canvas and buy a bunch of spray paint, colors from Mylo Xyloto.. and let everyone spray on it, like put their own touch of art work on it for me to keep <3 I'm going to do that.

Any other ideas?

Do the people you'll invite like coldplay too? If they don't, i would consider another theme, because it might become a dull party because people don't "understand" the theme (a fan would understand).. If they do, YOUR FRIENDS ARE AWESOME.

I know i wouldn't have to come up with such an idea cause people would just find me weird and probably don't like the party, while i would desperately try to make everybody happy:P Not a good idea in my case.

yes I do want to make everyone happy. You make a great point.. I don't want the theme to be 100% all about Coldplay.. but I really want to fit something in that's "Coldplay" related that's also like a tribute to them.

That's a really wonderful idea. Not only will it be fun for your guests but you'll have something to keep forever as a souvenir.

How about also making your own Coldplay music mix to play during your celebration? Make a tape or CD with your own favorites on it - maybe all up dance-y tunes like Charlie Brown or GPASUYF. You could also put in some other of your favorite artists just as a break, just make it your own. Whatever makes you smile and feel happy!

Do you guys have any ideas on what to do at the party.. as in like a karaoke party.. dance party.. or something outdoors that can be Coldplay related..

We have a rolling skating rink that has neon colored lights and big projection screen to play music videos on while your skating.. you can do like a neon light show skating party.. that would give me the feel of Mylo Xyloto and the Charlie Brown video.. :)

But I want to hear if you guys have any opinions on what to do at the party cause I still want to throw Coldplay in some how... hmm...

Okay so I came up with a "theme" of what I want to do...

When Chris wrote Viva La Vida he based it off of the book "Les Miserables" by Victory Hugo, right? As a toast to life... a celebration of life and overcoming your mistakes..

So its going to be a day of celebrating life.. I have one idea of what I want to do... but I need more ideas based on the Viva La Vida album for celebrating life and toasting off the good life..

One thing I decided I'm going to do is ride this ride called the Rip Cord. I live twenty minutes away from the amusement park Cedar Point and I want to ride this on my birthday as a toast to life and living to the fullest... all inspired by Coldplay :)

Does anybody else have any other ideas?
