so i was going to post something last week and got way busy, but some chick in LA tweeted and said she was going to be working with chris and rihanna this week, and with him in mexico, and then at the bruno mars show at the playboy mansion, he's definitely in the right part of the world. i'll post a screenshot of the woman's tweet, but she's deleted it since, but just recently made some tweets that sort of sound like she's been working with them today. i'm not sure if this is the right place for this post, but i wanted to share the information that i had :D

None of those have any appeal to me (aside from Lowes, as I shop there sometimes).

It's a night and day difference between their respective twitter pages, as Rihanna is mainly tweeting all these pictures, while Coldplay havn't tweeted anything about it.

I also have this feeling that Will, Jonny, and Guy are not there. In all these tweets, only Chris Martin is mentioned and nothing about the band. This better not be a Chris Martin-Rihanna only video, as then it will be cringe-worthy to watch. (Pure speculation on my part though, the rest of the band are hopefully involved)

I was hoping the video for this would be on location or different locations as the rest of the MX videos have been so far. This one seems to be more of a green-screen video. Similar to the original paradise video with Hype Williams directing.

Anyways, we will find out soon. Also, shooting this video doesn't mean that they are releasing PoC now or giving up on CB. They shot CB back in November-December and it got released in February. They are possibly shooting the video now as Coldplay are going to go on tour next month and won't have time to shoot a music video.

apparently from these first pictures, the video could reflect the Rihanna style! I mean a very scenic one, where images are essential to give a sense to the song because alone it doesn't have a great artistic value. Like all the RIhanna songs of course!

Rihanna has posted "gangsta goth" photos from the set of her and Coldplay's 'Princess Of China' video shoot.

The 'We Found Love' singer put the photos of her, looking as controversial as one can be while shooting a Coldplay promo, on her Twitter this morning (March 23).

In one snap, which you can see at the top of the page, Rihanna, wearing freakishly long fingernail extensions, sticks her middle finger up at the camera. Beside the picture she tweeted the words "gangsta goth". In another, which you can see on the right, she is dressed like a geisha with smoke bellowing out of her mouth.

It's currently unclear whether Chris Martin will be applying mascara to his eyelashes for the video, and we might just have to wait until it is released to see if he copies Rihanna's aggro-attitude by flipping the bird while dressed as a geisha. The pictures are from the video shoot of Rihanna and Coldplay's 'Princess Of China' collaboration, which appeared on Coldplay's recent album, 'Mylo Xyloto'.

In an earlier interview with NME, which you can see by clicking on the video below, Martin said Rihanna was the only person the band wanted to sing on the track.

Depends what kind of graffiti you are talking about. Most of the graffiti I see is either 6 foot cocks scribbled into the sides of walls or racist/sexist remarks etched into toilet walls.

The really cool street art kind of graffiti is rare.

There are also implications of property rights you have to take into consideration. Whilst some graffiti artists may view their work to be inspiring and beautiful (which it often can be) a property owner may not want that marked on the front walls of their factory or shop.

Also, regarding the Charlie Brown video and the rhetoric seen in it - I think it went far beyong "young and free". They stole a car and torched it. That's a dick move.

It sad to see how charlie brown flopped on the music charts.. all us coldplayers thought that it would be a great hit, but it just wasnt. what do we know right? haha. it might be charting on uk charts, but stateside it just hasnt appeared..and its not getting any airplay.. Interesting fact is that POC has charted here! on the weekly top 40 hosted by ryan seacrest here in the states it has charted already in the 30's if i remember correctly..and it hasnt even been officialy released. But then again CB was never officialy release either so i guess thats the route there going. I dont expect anymore single releases from this LP.. I imagine they want to put this Lp away as quickly as possible, and i suspect them taking a long hiatus after this., they will resurface maybe 4 or five years later. If one feature concerns only one of the songs of a concept album, I think it can still be considered as a tight and cohesive concept album.

I think 'oppressive Orwellian world' would be a feature of Major Minus and not Princess of China. But that's just my interpretation :)

As a Chinese, i must say, yeah, i'm very frustrated. The people in the pics are no Chinese elements. Thanks to the people who understand the difference between Jap and Chn. I think we waited quite a lot for Paradise if we consider the first video with the Brazilian model, which was discarded. We only got Paradise (elephant version) quite fast because they were late.

But indeed, it would be cool to have the PoC video to see if our general speculations are wrong or if they indeed lost their judgment sense on this video.
