Computer Trouble

Hi, hopefully someone can give me some advice as to what to do here...

I turned my computer off improperly last night. Today I turned it on, and it was in safe mode, the mouse wasnt working either. My bf got that figured out, the internet works now and the screen looks normal again, however my printer and sound do not work.

Any suggestions? I think my sound card got busted.

OMG! that's what happened to me! my computer was broken for 3 months b/c i improperly shut down and it was stuck on safe mode.

Um..i would say your sound card is busted..but i don't think that would explain the printer. :stunned:

no... I am moving out of my place this weekend, so once I move into the apartment, Ill reformat it... thatll take forever however. Stupid computer.
