Studio Version sounds Really Intimate

I liked the recording from T in The Park because it sounded more distant and less intimate than the album version. Does anyone feel the same about this? Still love the album version though...

As much as I LOVE the song, the studio version leaves a bit to be desired for me. Pretty much every single performance of it live is absolutely beautiful...and I just can't pick a finger on what's wrong with the studio version :(
