12 Coldplayers of Christmas wanted! (reviewers for the months of 2011) ## list updated 8th December ##

Fancy putting your hand to writing a review of Coldplay/Coldplaying in a specific month of 2011?

Just some of the things that happened this year (and much much more not listed!):

The 12 days of Coldplay/Coldplaying Christmas went well last year so if there was enough interest in it this time round then 12 volunteers could do one month each, posting their review on successive days like we did in 2008 and 2009, 2010 and culminating in a full 2011 review by the end of the calendar year. You can apply on your own or as a pair (or even more!)

If you are interested, reply to the thread below with your preference for month :D

Here are the reviews from 2008 (http://www.coldplaying.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=71) and reviews of 2009 (http://www.coldplaying.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=99) and also reviews of 2010 (http://www.coldplaying.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=108) to give you a feel of how the reviews work (use of coldplaying new articles, youtube vids, pics etc to build up a story, and then a monthly poll)

The different styles of reviews would be something to look forward to reading!

If it helps anyone to gather ideas, its east to use the main site search function, slowly working forward to page 1 (the latest news).

Each month reviewer should start with the 1st day of their month using the main site search. e.g. May 2011 would be at http://www.coldplaying.com/index.php?name=Search&action=search&active_stories=1&stories_author=&stories_cat%5B%5D=&bool=OR&startnum=291&total=7332

Most of the main site news articles have within them links to the forum threads where all the discussion, youtube vides, pictures, wikicoldplay references etc are. There should be around 5-10 decent different news stories per month and then created a poll asking which was your favourite. You may decide to do it differently, its your choice as the reviewer. Whatever you decide there is a wealth of information at your disposal! :)

Hmmm. I haven't really followed a whole lot, but this seems pretty interesting, and I've never tried something like this before. I'd be willing to take a month that nobody else wants, as the month of the year honestly doesn't matter to me. Also, I'm up for collaborating with someone, if someone wants to do that. :smiley:
