Or is it all synths? It sounds like guitar with a reverb effect. Idk. What you think?

he play guitar all the time in the song!
In Rihannas solo part you can clearly hear the guitar, and many other times in the song, so YES. He plays guitar in the song :)

^While those are probably true for studio, if you watch the Rock Im Park performance, Jonny actually plays the main riff on synth and then acoustic guitar for most of the song. Weird, right?

Yeah exactly. That's why I was wondering. Why didn't he play the solo parts live on guitar? If that's how it is in the studio/album version.....

Yh, Jonny is definitely in this song. He is very prominent in all of them actually!
