Live it sounded massive and it was my favorite part of the song.
But on the studio version it sounds sooooo weak.
Anyone else really disappointed by that part?

was also my favourite part in the live versions. but unfortunately in the studio version it has lost it's power.

Yeah, that part was better live (specially in the Rock am ring version). But the "all the boys..." part is way better in the studio version (and the acoustic guitar is more prominent). But I love it anyways

In the live version, the "Light a fire" bit definitely comes across a bit stronger. But, the studio version's "All the boys, all the girls" section more than makes up for it, in my opinion.

Speaking about this... Some people say that the lyrics are ''Light a fire, light a spark'' but I really hear ''Light a fire, find a spark''

The correct lyrics are "Light a fire, a fire, a spark."

'All the boys all the girls' is cheap lyric.

I hope that when (and if) they release an EP, they do a makeover of the song enhancing the 'light a fire...' bit just like they did with Lovers In Japan...

I wonder what makes that part sound so underwhelming as opposed to the live version.
Is it just that there is no bass during that part in the studio version?

I was gonna say that only Chris sings that part in the studio version but nope, i just heard it again and they do sing in a chorus (at least Will does) so i don't know but it does sound a lot better live, it's the only tiny complain i have about the studio version...

I edited the studio version so that the "light a fire" part sounds more like the live version.

The "light a fire"-part is ok...have much more problems with the first verse...to me,Chris just sings it so "bored" and it doesnt sound good...and of course, the live version is way better...

Edit: The Live Version of it at Rock am Ring is still outstanding...
