Does any one notice at the beginning before Chris starts singing, you can hear a very slight guitar mistake? I'm talking about in the intro....

no hey listen to it. I'm speaking of Jonny's part at the start. It sounds like he slips on one of the notes. It's been bugging me :( It's right around 0:20

The way of playing the intro is the same with "Shiver".

But the accords are identical with the intro of "Yellow" ;)

I think you're talking about the slight muted note around the 20 second mark?
It happens when you take your finger off the note too quick, so the string doesn't ring out, as the others are.

I'm surprised they didn't remove it/ record over it, though it does sound nicer, as if it's a proper acoustic-like song, as opposed to most of the others on the record...
