I've only heard it once and I don't understand why everyone says that it's a great song. I really didn't understand a bit of it, it seemed too messy, but maybe it's because I need listening to it more times. I'm listening the album for the second time now, but for now i'll give this song a 6/10. I will tell you later when i've heard the song properly :)

Hmmm It gets better with each listen for me. I imagine the live version will blow it out of the water...

The only down side is that the volume of chris' vocals aren't loud enough when your playing this song on big or even small speakers. There's just so much sound and stuff going on in this song that the vocals get slightly drowned out.

But I did notice for the first time that if you play this song through some good quality headphones (I have bose on the ear) then you can actually hear chris' voice just fine. Its still a little low in volume but its a little louder when you listen to the song on headphones.

This song is amazing! I think that the way A Hopeful Transmission builds up into it is amazing and once the song starts it feels like a sort of "victory".

Its definitely the best song on the album, and its one of my favourite all time Coldplay songs.
It reminds me of Glass of Water, and now that people mention it, its sorta like Things I Don't Understand aswell.

Definitely 10/10 for me. For some reason, (if CP gives permission), i could see this is a movie or a commercial. It's so upbeat and the meaning is wonderful.

At least a 7, probably closer to an 8. The transition in from AHT makes up for the fact that Chris' voice is a little drowned out

It gets a 10 from me. It was the song I was most looking forward to. The guitars, the melody and the good feeling you get from it is amazing. Will be a good concert song, if they decide to play it as most people will relate to it.

That doesn't mean overproduced. It just means you think the sound balance isn't optimal.

Yeah I agree slightly. The mix will probably be a lot better live. I feel like Major Minus has the same problem where the vocals are just a little less prominent than they should be. In terms of drums being too loud, I like where they are. It kind of makes me think of Politik.

I think Strawberry Swinger might mean the mixing on the vocals, which aren't quite tiptop. It's something that would be resolved live (think, MM studio vs live).

I only gave it a nine because the intro is a seperate track and when I play on normal, or even shuffle, I never get A Hopeful Transmission and Don't Let it Break Your Heart in sync.

You can mix then together into one song, but I dont want to compress the song layers :blank:
