Does anyone know what this is? It sounds like really high pitched, squirrel voices all muffled and talking in the background. I have no idea what it actually is, but I love it!

It's Chris' voice, speeded up and high pitched. The oracle said that months ago I think

Reminds the voice of a child.
I can't listen to this intro without thinking of a horny nasty dick seeker kitty.

I have a feeling it's Chris' voice just really distorted.
But I like to think of it as a chorus of acid-dropping chipmunks.

I love the song, probably my favorite of the album but that sound is kind of scary, it's like evil chipmunks!!!

Q. Dear Oracle,
I heard Charlie Brown on YouTube! It's awesome! But there's an Asian sounding part! It sounds real good but I cant figure what it really is...
The Oracle replies:
In the intro to Charlie Brown the sound you can hear is actually Chris' vocal speeded up.

One of my favourite intros to any song ever. Sounds like a huge claim to make but the weird chipmunks sound and the guitar building up is just superb.

For me Charlie Brown is probably in the top 2 Coldplay tracks of all time along with Amsterdam. It is epic. The intro and bridge with Chris Martin's voice sped up is pure genius.

If that is his voice sped up, what is he saying?

I thought it's weird but I was thinking about chipmunks too! :D But yeah, I like it. It's one of my fave tracks from MX.

This is the most perfect song on the album. Although, I think they got all songs right in terms of production apart from Up In Flames. I still cant get into the bass, it should just be the tick-tock drums from ACL; the song is too quiet and calm. It sounds a bit like it can't decide whether it wants to be a festival classic like Fix You and The Scientist or a disco/nightclub dance tune!!

But when the guitar kicks in it drowns out the bass a bit which is good ;)

It is extremely weird when you realize what he says and then listen to the song again (when not slowed down).

The voice for snoopy is a person's voice sped up 4 times. That's why Chris sped up his voice 4 times for the intro to Charlie Brown.
