Good afternoon. On 31 October, Coldplay are performing a special, intimate gig at la Cigale in Paris for Orange/NRJ. For those of you in France, there is a contest to win tickets at coldplay.orange.fr/ (http://coldplay.orange.fr/) - plus, you can also watch some exclusive new interview videos with the band (in English) at that link. NRJ will also be giving away tickets on air from 10 October.

I'm not really sure there'll be more tickets available for us... It's a private show, so I guess most of them will go to journalists and label employees... I really hope I'm wrong though. I want to go to this show so badly!!

Well, I did it. Used my own email adress and a friend's phone number. It worked, apparently. :D But don't forget you can only use your name and email adress once. :)

I entered the contest on Coldplay.com too :happy: Don't forget it's only today until 5pm (Paris time).

And I checked out the NRJ site before and there is a contest on the site (http://www.nrj.fr/radio-510/operations-3271/operation/coldplay-en-concert-exclusif-avec-orange-et-nrj-/2499-9077/) too (open from today until the 21st october), that everyone can enter (you just have to create an NRJ account). There are 3 questions (not written like that but that's what I remember):
- is "Mylo Xyloto" the title of the new album? (I clicked "yes"),
- are they playing at Bercy the 15th december? (I clicked "no", it's the 14th),
- and did Chris said he would have liked to write a song from Adele or Lady Gaga? (I clicked "yes" since I remember reading he would have liked to write "Bad Romance" from Gaga)
Here we go, another chance to maybe go to La Cigale :pleased: And just to warn you, I had to try several times before answering the questions (I don't know if it's the site which had problems or my internet or what !?)

You were at the concert in Strasbourg too and you remember that quote too (it was pretty funny I must say!) :nice: I also remember the great mood, "The Dubliners" at the end of the gig, Jonny singing "Don't Panic". It was their first date of the European tour and it was my first Coldplay concert after knowing them since "Parachutes" :D Maybe that's why I remember these things !?

But you have to send a text to donate ~5 euro for the pink ribbon to enter, and then just hope for the host to call you up and let you know you won. Of course that's a good thing but to have a great chance to win you have to send MANY textmessages and they cost 5 euro each.... if I'm not winning I'm thinking about to contact the winner and offer him a lot of money to get the tickets. He can have the flighttickets and hotel, I can walk to Paris as long as I get at least one ticket for the concert haha. Hoping for the best, this concert would be the greatest ever :(

It's always like that to have a few chance to win a ticket. You must pay a lot textmessages and you win nothing. I know people who have tried to win tickets to attend a concert of another band and nobody won. However there were many friends to send SMS. La Cigale is a small venue compared to stadiums. It's maybe the 8th in the size of Bercy for example. It's usually booked for metal bands. The acoustics inside is just mind blowing!
