Good morning. We're very pleased to report that Coldplay will play nine arena shows across the UK, France, Germany, Holland and Belgium in December.

If you get tickets for the standing area, you can either stand or sit a on the other side of the room (not really fun =p) I was at the front in 2008 and there wasnt an inner circle. Its just first come first serve and where ever you are, youll stay there the entire time. Like Lost! in technicolor said, it either standing, or sitting. I aint sure what Im gonna do yet.

Also I think there is a posibility they will also book the 16th for Coldplay. So perhaps 2 days in a row like 3 years ago ;)

i was there 2 years ago at nijmegen, but veeery far from the stage. I absolutely loved the atmosphere. They bring so much happyness and atmosphere with their music and Chris Martin with his presence.. I think. Now im not sure if i should get standing tickets or sitting. Id like to sit first row but im neeever lucky. (what do you have to do to get those good tickets). My friend, that im taking with me, is not really fan of being squashed, so he only wants to stand where the people can stand and still walk (and breath :)...).

tickets by phone is not possible. As far as I know since a few years. Same with buying them at a post office. Its only internet.. if your internet connection isnt working, Then... ok that can not happen! You can buy 4 tickets at a time.

According to Wikipedia the capacity of the venue in Cologne is only 20.000 during concerts. But the capacity of Ahoy is 15.000, so even less than in Germany.

I remember in 2008 everyone went to post offices and stuff like that to buy tickets and it was immediately sold out but now you can only buy from internet so I assume we have the whole day tomorrow to buy tickets and not 5 minutes sold out like the Peppers?

It was very chaotic. I'm glad I was able to come through, but a friend of mine was kicked off the Livenation site when he was ready to pay. He already selected tickets and entered his name, etc. He's trying to reach them now by phone, because he's afraid the same will happen in the regular sale tomorrow, when the traffic on the website will be even more..

Don't think that's gonna happen. Like they care about the fans. They just wanna sell as many tickets as they can. The 2 ticket only 'restriction' is just a barrier to make it difficult to buy a whole bunch of them for the black market or so..

Yeah, true.. I went there as well. There was a MAJOR problem with Ideal at the time. They linked it wrongly, so you couldn't pay through that. That took some years of my life for sure =p

No it's not. Their are many people out who do love all Coldplay songs, have their albums and listen very much. But just know nothing about the band, because they aren't interested. Why would they then have no chance to get tickets for coldplay. But one of my friends who doesn't know a song, but gets the answers from me...

Every system has it's positives and negatives. The only system I would be happy with is tickets booked on name, just like a flying ticket. Only acces to the show when showing an ID. Changing the name for a ticket costs 50 euro. This will be best solution, only who wants to go buy tickets...

Its just weird. I believe that many people/fans bought more than 2 tickets today. If they would cancel those tickets, a lot of big fans are not going to see CP... how crazy unfair would that be..

Chris vraagt vooral bij Charlie Brown om actie: jumpen, meezingen. Wat vast een erg leuk effect is daarbij is het laten flitsen van je mobiel op de muziek.

Dat kan met de gratis APP Partylight en dan instellen op RAVE 3.

Rond 15 december moet dit dan ook vooral getwitterd worden.

for the show in Madrid the support act is Fedde le Grant, a Dutch dj who made a remix from paradise. Coldplay liked it, so they invited him.
I really hope they will not invite him again, for the show in ahoy..

When Muse was playing Nijmegen last year, they had Editors as support. Even though not many of the Muse fans seem to be interested I thought it was awesome.

In 2009 with Coldplay we had Bat For Lashes and The Flaming Lips as support, the second show had Miss Montreal and White Lies. I'm not sure for the Ahoy show if there will be a support act. My ticket in 2009 said 'Coldplay & Support act', this time it's only 'COLDPLAY'.
