Mylo Xyloto duration of the album?

Anyone know the duration of Mylo Xyloto? can't hide my happiness for the NEW ALBUM! :D

Also this video says that is 42 minutes long:

That would be an average of a little over 3 minutes a song. Very contradictory of Coldplay's previous work, as most of their songs are ~4 minutes and up.

I hope that information of the album are wrong, because 55 minutes to 60 minutes either are good for a Album, but 42 to minutes for probably 13 songs its a little short. :(

Chris said they had 13 songs finished but that doesnt mean all 13 will make it on the album. The Billboard article goes into detail about how they are trying to decide which few won't make the cut.

It's simple for me: if the album is gonna feature 10 or 11 songs, 42 minutes of length it's ok, but if the album is gonna feature 13 songs, 50 minutes or a little more is better. While other people hate it, I like songs of 5 minutes long.

I respectfully disagree sir. Who knows how long it will be? We won't until we hear it. And 13 songs in 42 minutes? haha yeah right. Not unless there's like 3 or 4 that are only a minute in length. Which would suck btw. And they CAN. Rules were meant to be broken. Who even knows if they still have that list up in the studio.

194 seconds =~ 3,2 minutes/track

IF "MX" is a track, it is 0:42 lenght. So it gives ~2 minutes to other tracks

Every Teardrop is a Waterfall = 4:04 (3,2 minutes +40 seconds from MX)
Hurts Like Heaven =~ 4:15 (3,2 minutes + 55 seconds from MX)

The rest would be a balance of 3~3,5 minutes.
So it's perfectly possible making a 13 tracks / 42 minutes album

To be fair though, they only had about 9 tracks that were actually full songs haha! The Radiance was about a minute long and Empty Spaces was just 18 seconds, and four others were between 1-2 minutes, if I remember correctly... good album though.

Viva was 13 tracks in like 45 mins with the shortest song being LiT at 2:29 so i think it's possible

2. Does the artwork REALLY remind you of ETIAW? Really? Really? Well it was the first single from the album. Silly cow.
3. Viva la Vida was 45 minutes long, X&Y 62 and Rush of Blood 54. If there is a rule, they're terrible to sticking at it.

They wanted to make Viva 42 minutes long too, it ended up with 46. So I say it will be more than 42, but less then 47.

The rule came up after X&Y because they now think that album was too long, so they are trying hard I would say, only 3 minutes more on Viva, let's wait for Mylo Xyloto.
