View Full Version : EMI Publicity
Hey everyone, I found this:
http://emimusicpublicity.net/artist.php?artistid=74&projectid=457
It seems to be an EMI Publicity page for LP5?
There's not much on there yet, but I guess there will be.
You can also check out pages for Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends and "Christmas Lights" through the "Select a Different Project" drop-down menu!
A whole bunch of cool stuff there, like a hi-rez PDF of Rolling Stone magazine's 2008 Chris Martin article!

Sorry if this has been posted already.

Guys, I'm pretty sure:
TBD = To Be Determined
So there's nothing there connected with the album at all. It's just a placeholder :)

what annoys me is the fact that they choose to release promos instead of proper releases that all of us could be buying!!!!!!!!

Possibly, since Coldplay is their single largest source of income.

Seriously, not only EMI, but the entire music industry is rotten, and I could go on and say that human nature plays a big role in this.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
August 3, 2011
COLDPLAY GIVES TWO NEW SONGS
THEIR U.S. NETWORK TELEVISION DEBUT
TONIGHT ON ABC’S “JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE”
Show Will Broadcast Excerpts From Band’s Sold-Out Concert At UCLA, Presented By Samsung AT&T Summer Krush And
Benefiting The GRAMMY Foundation®
Coldplay Headlines Lollapalooza This Friday
Tonight Coldplay will play an intimate, sold-out concert at the Los Angeles Tennis Center at UCLA. “Jimmy Kimmel Live” will be on hand and will give two of Coldplay’s new songs their U.S. network television debut. The show airs on ABC at midnight/11 p.m. Central. Presented by Samsung AT&T Summer Krush, the proceeds from tonight’s concert will benefit the GRAMMY Foundation’s® GRAMMY in the Schools® (www.grammyintheschools.com) music education programs for high school students.
The band, which has played numerous international festivals this summer, will headline Lollapalooza at Chicago’s Grant Park this Friday, August 5. For eight hours each day, fans can live stream Lollapalooza on YouTube. The webcast of Coldplay’s set can be seen at www.youtube.com/lollapalooza at approximately 8:30 p.m. CT / 6:30 p.m. PT on August 5.
Coldplay’s recent Glastonbury set was broadcast live on VH1 and Palladia, marking the first time in the music festival’s 41-year history that an artist’s full concert was televised in the U.S. "Their gig was one of the best I've seen in the last ten years,” said The Sun. “The new songs fitted in seamlessly, while the big hits sent Worthy Farm into orbit." “Coldplay understands how to make a shared moment from a song…their respect for their fans is obvious,” noted The Times of London while The Observer called the band’s set “faultless.”
“Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall” is now available as a digital EP on the iTunes Store. In addition to the title track, it includes two brand new songs – “Major Minus” and “Moving To Mars.” The physical CD single and limited edition 7” blue vinyl, which feature “Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall” and “Major Minus,” are also available now. The video for “Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall” has already received more than seven million plays. You can check it out at:
