My favorite album......... it's a real tie, OK Computer was fantastic, but I have never heard anything as original as Kid A before. But today, I'd say OK Computer.

HAHAHA...ok.....I must admit that as Kid A was extremely original and unlike anything else i'd heard at the time, OK Computer pretty much solidified my love for them. I had already owned Pablo Honey and The Bends but when OK Computer came out, i was like :shock: . I couldn't believe how great it was. So, OK Computer is my favourite. It pretty much started the whole unique sound of Radiohead...hehehe..

But they're upcoming album is going back to their simpler style of music circa The Bends and OK Computer. I cannot wait to hear the first single, "There There"... :-D

The albums called Hail to the Thief, 2+2=5 and Are You Listening? were 2 working titles but luckily they didnt go with either of those horrible names. Im not crazy over Hail to the Thief, it just doesnt roll off the tongue in sentences (But at least it rolls better than 2+2=5).

Radiohead's second gig in Dublin was even better than the first. Tonight the sound quality was much better. The band also played a different set, but still left out new album track 'I Will'. Like the evening before Radiohead started with 'There There' and '2+2=5

busybeeburns, every die hard Radiohead fan knows they RARELY play Creep!!! :o the last time was when they played at South Park in London on 07-07-01 for all they're friends and family!!! :D they started to play their last song of the set, which was the intro to Motion Picture Soundtrack, and suddenly changed to Creep which shocked the hell out of everyone, since they hadn't played it since T in the Park in July of 1996!!!...................AWESOME!!! whoever said they had No Surprises ??? :D

Im changing my Radiohead song of the day to There There- seeing as I bought the single earlier and havent stopped listening since. Where Bluebirds Fly and Paperbag Writer are both very Kid A and Amnesiac songs but still are pretty damn cool, just the same though I hope they arent on the new album, I wanna see Radiohead go somewhere promising without the use of a drum machine.

This is such a wicked album, the songs dont hold together at all, which is unfortunate yet interesting. It IS like a colaboration of all Radioheads albums thus far, like a Bends tribute band meets an OK Computer and Kid A/Amnesiac tribute band, but dont be fooled, its not like re-hashed ripping off of themselves, its still fresh and quality. They've just resurected some of the factors we felt they were leaving behind, for example, the ability to rock, like, reaaally rock. I dont know if they ever have rocked like they have on this CD, not through the whole thing (As most of it ISNT rockin') but for a few examples, like 2+2=5, they just blow away.

And the more subtle songs are just excellent, like Sit Down Stand Up, Backdrifts. Songs like that are just too different than something like Go to Sleep, but theyre all great songs so I cant complain much at the same time.

i haven't heard HTTT yet (i'm one of the few who are holding out for the actual album) but i don't think they ever left behind their ability to rock. if you've ever seen them live you'd know that most of the songs from kid a and amnesiac are about tripled in intensity when played live.

actually i've heard all but 3 songs on that album via live bootleg, but i got rid of my live mp3's when i found out the tracklisting, so i haven't heard them for 4 months and half of them i only heard once or twice anway. :roll:
