Beautiful. A 10/10 show except for waterfall. It was a very powerful show and they looked very happy. Loved GPASUYF, life is for living and everything's not lost :dazzled:

It was so amazing, they even played Everything's not lost and life is for living, it was brilliant. The set list was really well set up and the visuals were stunning. The mess up during UATW was cute :wacky::lol:

You know I really liked Every Teardrop for once. Maybe it was the 60,000 strong crowd cheeringi n unison or the multicoloured lit Pyramid Stage but somehow they made it work for me!

10/10

Face palmed when Chris fucked up Us Against The World but looking back it seems very down to earth and human!

U2 last night were epic and sub human...almost alien like because they were so out of this world BUT Coldplay were epic but incredibly human and modest. What a wonderful show.

Didn't care for my neighbours for once, got the music on put a record up..
The show was great, Shiver made me Shiver and I already said it many times and now once again, ETIAW is fantastic (So is Coldplay)

I think they should have ended with Fix You. An emotional ending to a special show

THAT WAS THE MOST AMAZING SHOW I'VE EVER SEEN IN MY WHOLE LIFE! 10/10!

EVERY SINGLE SONG SOUNDED GREAT. SHIVER, AND EVERYTHING'S NOT LOST. THE VIVA CHANT, THE BOUNCING OF THE AUDIENCE WHEN CHARLIE BROWN PLAYED. THE LIGHTING EFFECTS WERE AMAZING. THEY EVEN MADE ETIAW SOUND AMAZING! :P

I thought they sounded fantastic! Chris' voice and falsetto sounded pretty great. I want to hug the boys for playing Everything's Not Lost. That song is gorgeous. Although I do wish the crowd sang along a little longer and louder.

The pyramid during ETIAW and the multi-colored lasers were great too. :wideeyed:

I'm amazed that for such modest, down to earth men they can create and perform music as big as that. Astounding.

NME Review. Wow. NME praising Coldplay for like the first time in a long time.

Who: Coldplay

Where and When: Pyramid Stage, Saturday.

Vibe: Playing the new material from their forthcoming fifth studio album, including 'Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall', Coldplay's third go as headliners at Worthy Farm seemed to be a test for Chris Martin and co. With a set that included the big guns 'Yellow' and 'In My Place', as well as most fans' first chance to hear the new tracks live, they pulled off a great Saturday night headline set. And it was done without too much Chris Martin cheese.

Best bit: 'Yellow'. At Glastonbury. Just brilliant.

Low point: The lager-spilling, cigarette-burn-enducing, loud-mouthing idiots that we were stood next to for most of it.

Banter: Chris Martin: "Beautiful, wonderful Glastonbury, thank you for having us, we're glad the sun came out for you and you stuck around to see us."

Verdict: Emily Eavis said that Chris Martin would "do anything for Glastonbury" after he convinced Beyonce to play Worthy Farm this year - and you could see how much the festival means to the band during their live show. A great set of the classics and some of the new tracks, and not too many Chris Martin cheese moments/air punching/odd marching band outfits. Even the doubters seemed to enjoy it.

Rating: 9/10

I got back home for the concert just in time, and it was brilliant. Even ETIAW was spectacular, which is saying something.

And thanks for the laughs at the chatroom (whoever was part of it).

I can't decide whether Us Against The World, Shiver, or Everything's Not Lost was the highlight of the show. Nothing else they did really caught me, not even Politik.

It was amazing! I loved it all of it. Scientist and Fix You were incredible and Every Teardrop is an awesome closer. :D Edit to add that I love Major Minus and Charlie Brown!

I decided tonight that I really do enjoy Major Minus and I really don't enjoy Teardrop. Oh well, we all have to have our least favorites.

The Scientist was amazing as always. I've never heard a crowd so loud...And fuck yeah Shiver and Politik. And God Put... Ok fuck yeah to the whole thing.

But... four songs from Parachutes and only one from X&Y (only because they can't not play Fix You)? Wow.

The show was stunning, really! And playing at Glastonbury gives an added value to each song!
I'm so happy the streaming worked almost perfectly. And I'll never forget this Glasto because a friend of mine who was there and knows my obsession for the guys, called me and let me listen to a few seconds of Yellow!
Hearing Chris' voice on the phone was one of the best moments ever!

2 german Crits called becker & heller http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n57ZcDX_9yw&feature=channel_video_title

They said they heard the beginning of the Song and after 15 Seconds they didnt care about Song anymore and began with a Conversation.
They think the Song is boring.
Fools...

Nearly every Coldplay Fan here worships this song, kinda weird huh?
They are so wrong about this one.

@foxeh
These guys are ridicolous, really!
Everytime I watch their analysis I have to laugh. They considered the Coldplay performance at Rock am Ring as boring and generally bad.
So, please, don't give them attention.

What I don't understand is this: Why do they insist on reviewing Coldplay songs if they don't like Coldplay? Morons...

But anyway, Glastonbury was awesome! Can't wait to hear new songs live and hear the new album.

It was an amazing show.
I wasn't home on friday, so didn't watch it live. But thank god I recordid it, now I can watch it over and over again.

I literally said 'OMG Shiver' out loud and couldn't believe they did Everything's Not Lost too.
Shiver must mean a lot to them, it was sweet when he said it was the first song they ever played at Glastonbury.

I personally love ETIAW at the end of the set and the lights on the pyramid were awesome.
Sure am gonna watch the show again tonight!

I watched it on TV last night and I was so amazed! Loved that they played Shiver! Loved that they played Everything's Not Lost and Life is for Living!!! And I LOVED Charlie Brown!!

I guess I'm fine with the fact that they only did a couple of songs from X&Y. It's my least listened to album anyway.

If this is the sort of show we have to look forward to once LP5 is released and they start touring, then I'm going to every one I can make!!!
