Yes, the CD will only have two songs.
Also, traditionally an EP can have no more than 4 tracks, which is what I'm expecting this release to have..

I just thought about that we will have to buy ETIAW twice.
I don't think that Coldplay decided that, cause i remember that Chris once said, that they didn't wanted to make a 'best of' CD because they didn't wanted their fans to buy their songs twice. So I guess that EMI made them do that. :shame:

Please answer me, this is like my seventh question, and this time I'm sure it's not illogical.
I read that Major Minus is gonna be released as a B-side of ETIAW. I think that Major Minus is a beautiful song, and is a track that must be on the album. But I obviously know that B-sides are usually not included on other albums than special editions. Is it going to be included on the album?

You raise a good point. I must admit I thought the same as historically you're correct; b sides haven't appeared on the album.
All I can say is that there have been even more changes to how things (and what) are released since the last album so I wouldn't rule it out.
That said, I swear I don't know the final track listing of the album and as you already know what I am about to say... even if I did, I couldn't provide the definitive answer to your question.

I'm enjoying this EP, even if it is only 3 songs. Every Teardrop is a Waterfall is obviously a fantastic tune, and even though the lyrics are pretty trite, I think the mixture of synths and Strawberry Swing-like guitars really exemplify the colorful graffiti vibe the band seems to be going for.

Major Minus is a fun little throw-away jam, but I hope its not a huge indication of things to come. It's just sort of an obvious rock song that doesn't seem to have that "coldplay" stamp on it. Feels a bit like anyone could have written this song, you know?

March to Mars is easily the strongest track here. Brilliantly creepy piano and vocals--sounds like Chris crawled up to a piano after getting piss-faced drunk and did this one (I'm sure he didn't actually do that, but it does evoke that imagery) which is really different for them. The climax isn't terribly memorable, but then again I've only listened to it a few times.

I would think it just means the bundle (ie the poster) is sold out. They probably only had a limited number of the posters. Amazon still has the vinyl for pre order so I think it's safe to say the vinyl isn't sold out. I got my CD from amazon the other day :)

I came to think ...what would the significance of this EP be after the release of MX? I think it will truly be considered only a promotional release with no stand-alone value whatsoever (except the excellent MTM of course, which though could have simply have been released as a b-side to the digital release of ETIAW): practically the opposite of Prospekt´s March.
