i know he's king and everything
i read the books and all (scimmed through them)
but why doesnt he go back to that town where he will be king instead of being a ranger?
like why didnt he just get handed down kingship from his dad or something.. why was theoden king instead of him?

or whatever the king of gondor was
and yes he (aragorn) was supposed to be king of gondor... thats why im asking why was he a ranger?

he was ashamed of who he was because (i dont know the names, im not a lotr geek) the king who was suppose to distroy then ring didn't and thats why he went off, i think. something like that.

there wasn't a king of gondor, the father (faremire, i think) of boramir and the other guy was something that started with an s i think (sorry, short-term memory) he was basically the kings assistant, but since there was no king, yea.
that might be confusing
i dont know

Aragorn was ashamed of his bloodline, he was afraid of following in the footsteps of his ansestors, so he decided to flee, he was actually raised by elves.

that is correct. aragorn lived in rivendell for awhile

wasn't there some new book supposedly written single-handedly by some teen nerd..and it was thematically very similar or a mix of the LOTR and the Harry Pothead movies.

the guy got famous and made millions, apparently.
