I'm really curious as to ...

a.) whether people prefer Orlando Bloom to Viggo Mortensen, and ...
b.) if yes, why?

There's a bigger issue in my mind here: Why would women prefer a Justin/Orlando to a Viggo/Tom? Why would men prefer an Anna/Hilary to a Julia/Naomi Watts?

And obviously not everybody prefers the younger. I've always thought an older woman was more attractive ... part of the reason i need help answering this question.

I can't vote. I'm torn between... :huh: Two years ago when LOTR first came out it definitely would have to be Viggo. Now, after Pirates, and tonnes more of TV appearances, interviews etc (vs. the quieter Mr. Mortensen), I can't choose! I'm confused. Orlando is apparently a much deeper and finer actor than he lets on... :D

Pretty boy does not equal inability to act / lack of other attributes.
