So he can't write deep songs because he has stupid hair?

I knew you would say that.. No, I was actually being silly.. I wish people around here would get sarcasm without finishing the sentence with the rolleyes smilie.. I thought our arguments were based on facts.. Maybe not "deep".. but i dont think they're meaningful.. at least not to me..

And besides, most songs (even non-pop songs) these days aren't deep at all. A song doesn't have to be deep to be good. Look at 'Love Me Do' by The Beatles. That has to be one of the simplest songs in existence, and look at how good it is!

I'm not a fan of Bieber, but I recognize that he has talent and I respect him for that.

Maybe.. But you can't judge Beatles' work for "Love me do".. I'm pretty sure I wouldnt be a beatle fan if all their songs were like that.. and btw, I'm not against simplicity, a song can be simple, deep and meaningful at the same time..

But whatever, "Baby" might mean something really really important for someone in this forum  <---- there you go

I think he's talented, but i dont like his music at all.. Maybe his music will be interesting as the years go by and when he gets out of that mainstream teenage pop bubble..

thats my opinion

Okay, sorry. :P
I try to avoid that smiley as well. :anxious:

I agree, his songs really don't have a lot of meaning other than little pop love songs. But that's what the majority of people want now, and he knows that. That's why he's so popular.

Ah, I love Love Me Do, it was one of my first Beatles songs. I happen to love simplicity. :P

And I agree, while I don't like his music now, it's interesting to think of what sort of album he's going to be making 10 years from now.

As has been discussed previously, you don't have to be a great singer, but you do have to deliver credible material, which Bieber hasn't.

You did not acknowledge my last post in response to you.

Reilly, why do you bother telling him that? He's still not going to respond to a point if he doesn't have anything to argue about it. :|

I very much doubt it. He'll almost certainly end up on the pop scrapheap after a few years, like the vast majority of "teeny" stars.

Yes but that has nothing to do with anything, well done. You said you'd have to be tone-deaf to like Bieber, and I said the FACT that he can DEFINITELY sing in tune UNDENIABLY (as a tuner measuring his voice to the key would prove it) and then you started to talk about how good singers aren't necessarily great artists (Which is so fucking obvious that you shouldn't have even bothered saying it) to move away from your magnificent DERP.

'Don't touch my hair!' Justin Bieber turns into Justin Diva as he screams at TV presenter who dared to go near his head

It's not the first time that he's been accused of acting like a stroppy spoilt teenager.
But this time, Justin Bieber had a diva moment live on TV - and all because someone got too close to his hair.
The teen pop sensation had a precious moment when he appeared on US chat show The Talk last week.

http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2011/02/27/article-1361048-0D60ACBE000005DC-511_468x367.jpg Get off! Justin Bieber yelled at The Talk host Holly Robinson Peete when she tried to out a baseball cap on his head

He joined the show's regular hosts Holly Robinson Peete, Sharon Osbourne, Julie Chen and Leah Remini on the sofa for a chat and appeared to have be having a good time.
But when Robinson Peete tried to put a baseball cap on his head, which was branded with the The Talk logo, he shouted: 'No, no, no. Don't touch my hair!'
Robinson Peete went to put the cap on him after he said he would rather have three eyes than wear it and then he tried to re-do his hair once she had given up.
He quickly tried to re-do his hair once the presenter gave up with the baseball hat while he fellow hosts looked on in bemusement.

Later on, the 16-year-old caused chaos by driving a buggy around the set with one source saying: ‘He was out of control.'
It did come as a surprise that Justin would be so worried about his hair after he cut off his famous flick do and auctioned off his locks for charity.

But this isn't the first time that Bieber has acted like a diva, and not just over his hair.

Before and after: Justin and his famous forward flick hairdo which he cut off last week

Last May, he allegedly flew into a swear-word tirade on Australian morning chat show Sunrise and told a member of the production team ‘don’t ever f****** touch me again’ when he was told where to perform.
A few days earlier he appeared at Radio 1's Big Weekend and stomped off when host Fearne Cotton asked him about his tattoos.
And at last week's Brit Awards, where he received the gong for Best International Breakthrough Act, he reportedly demanded the best table at the ceremony, access all areas and a private audience with Rihanns.

February 16th, 2011 Justin Bieber Says He’s Anti-Abortion, Even In Cases Of Rape: ‘Everything Happens For A Reason.’

http://www-hollybaby-com.vimg.net/wp-content/uploads/2011/02/021611_justinbieber_rollingstone_XXXX_110216110710 .jpg
Did the Biebs go too far with his latest interview, or do you respect him for speaking his mind?

For Justin Bieber (http://www.hollywoodlife.com/topics/justin-bieber/)’s sake, I WISH I was taking this quote out of context… but I am not. During a just-released interview in Rolling Stone (http://www.rollingstone.com/music/news/justin-bieber-talks-sex-politics-music-and-puberty-in-new-rolling-stone-cover-story-20110216), the topic of conversation turns to abortion (for some reason) and Justin, 16, makes his opinion known: ”I really don’t believe in abortion (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/02/16/justin-bieber-takes-on-evil-us-health-care_n_823942.html) … It’s like killing a baby.” Then the interviewer asks if Justin still feels that way in cases of rape. Unfortunately, he answers the question…

“Well, I think that’s really sad, but everything happens for a reason,” he answers. “I guess I haven’t been in that position, so I wouldn’t be able to judge that.”

Braddock

One of the most depressing things to say is that everything happens for a reason. Makes you just want to give up and let things happen, if it's all pre-planned. Obviously it isn't though. The only thing we know is that we will die.

And like crests (edit - she edited) says, if he believes everything happens for a reason then he should believe that all the abortions that have happened have happened for a reason. He should also believe that any outcry to his own personal beliefs are happening for a reason, and if somebody was to attack him (which I both hope doesn't and doubt would happen, especially given how trivial some kids opinions are - just a shame he'll be influencing others) then that too will have been done for a reason. Hell, 9/11 was done for a reason then.

You just got to hope he doesn't deal with any dissent by alluding to the forthcoming rapture that people are patiently (some more than others) waiting for.

(second edit - she edited it back again haha)
