Oh God that interview killed me it was so funny! Honestly the only time he got upset with fans-and it was WELL deserved-is that infamous vid where some fans took his bracelets that his mom made. Honestly, I felt so bad for him and would have reacted the same way.

I actually feel like I could take up for him at times. Everyone makes him out to be this douche for some reason-he's not. To me, he seems like a humble, working-class kind of guy with working-class guy issues that we're all vocal about-he just happens to be in a very public kind of job. Fame and money mean nothing to him-we all know that. In fact I think thats the thing about him that makes people think he's a tool-he sees right thru the media BS and egos of his peers, and he isn't shy about letting out how he feels about it (and I appreciate that). He truly gives a DAMN about people of this world and what they are going thru, and is vocal in taking up for them when they are being shorthanded (ie his feelings about Live 8 and the charities of the rich and famous). He cares more about what's important-family, freinds, GOOD people and the CREATIVE side of music/art/etc. To me, Damon Albarn is a good man and an amazing human being who 'gets it'. :D
