Sarah..this is soo cool......You should have been at the show...it was amazing!! no one was really paying attention to phantom planet b/c they were only there for incubus, but i did, and i thought they were really good....i distinctively remember them playing "Hey Now Girl"...lol....anyways, you're cool!!!

Copps Coliseum was okay...but i would have preferred it to be in T.O. that way i could've gone out afterwards...right after it was done, i had to catch a train b/c the last train was at 11:30 and it ended at 10:30-11...BUT it was an amazing show...do you like incubus alot??? :)

Ummm I am not the biggest Incubus fan, I only started to like them when they released Drive. And I only have Morning View and Make Yourself and the Morning View Sessions DVD which is very good! Everyone who loves Incubus swears that the older stuff is much better but I've heard it and don't like it so much. I just wanted to see them because I have heard they are amazing live.

And I also never thought about taking the train to the show. I only thought about bus and phoned GO and they didn't have any busses to Hamilton at that time so I thought I had no way of getting there.

And I was at the OK GO message board a few weeks ago and apparently sometime last year OK GO did a show with Phantom Planet in Toronto. That would have been a great show, but that happened before I started to like either band.

When are you 19? I need to find a person to go with to 19+ shows and you like good music!

You should get the DVD it's pretty good. It was on sale a few weeks ago at Future Shop for like $20 but I doubt it's still on sale.

And the fucking 19+ shows drive me crazy. Sam Roberts, The Music, OK GO, are all having shows in February and are all 19+ :cry:

One of my closest friend's birthday is December 27th, how much does that suck for her. By the time she turns 19 I will be turning 20 right after that.

Yes I did, but all of my marks I knew before. I am still undecided about whether I should do correspondance instead of night school or not :shrug: The good thing about night school is the final exam is June 5th, which is a lot earlier than I thought it was going to be. So I can look at it as I only have two weeks left of February, March, April, May and then the exam.

And my trip was lovely. I am going insane today because I have shitloads of people to phone, e-mail, and do my correspondance stuff. Oy, I'm gone for only 4 days and I come back and there is enough stuff that I need to do that will take up a week. :roll:

The shopping is amazing, so much better stuff than in Toronto. The people are all so nice and friendly, a few times people would come up to us and ask us if we needed help where to go because we looked confused and lost, which was really nice. I doubt many Torontonians will go up to strangers and offer help. McGill is a really nice school, the rez was nicer than what I expected it to be. We had so much fun going to the casino and bars and the restaurants we went to were good too. And Old Montreal was SO gorgeous just everything was closed until Printemps whih sucks. I want to go back when the weather is nicer and do the stuff I didn't get a chance to do.

And I saw SO many commercials on TV there for Coldplay, and I went in some music store and the Clocks video was playing on the TVs in it, and in a few other stores when we went in they were playing Coldplay. I think they are more popular there than here.

But I loved it, I want to move there.

Really!! Well a friend of a friend has gotten accepted to Windsor, but Windsor isn't known as the best school in the world. Early acceptance at UofT, they must have like a 99% average!

There was this one scholarship where the applicant had to write a 1000 word essay about why they're eligible for the scholarship...How crazy is that?? So i just said "fuck it"..and decided not to go for any of them.. i mean, i still have to complete my stupid ryerson journalism portfolio, which includes a 250-300 word essay about a form of media ( :roll: ) and other things like journalistic experience and life experience...

If only i signed up for english, i wouldn't have to do any this shit... :x

Anyways, i'm at work right now.. i'm telling everyone b/c i'm so supremely bored!! I came in here at around 9:00 and they gave me my little desk and computer and stuff. They showed me around the office, which is pretty nice, i must admit. And around 10 am they give me a whole shit load of files that need to be dated and put back in their cabinets... i have all these paper cuts and stuff..LOL.. yeah, and then i didn't take my lunch break until after i finished my work , which was around 1:00, so i'm basically just sitting around doing nothing, b/c they don't have any other work to give me....LOL..i get to leave at 3...!! isn't that crazy! they said that a full work day for me is 9 to 3 b/c i'm still technically a student..hahaha...

Yeah, but it's not so bad here..just quiet... i never see my cousin around.. he's on another floor.. BUT there is a guy who kinda reminds me of Guy Berryman, i think his name is James.. :) Yeah, so, work ain't that bad, but i'd much rather be home sleeping..hehehe

Oh! and i already got told about my clothes... :lol: i wore a denim skirt and a nice top b/c my cousin said that it would be okay, but my "supervisor" says that i have to wear something more appropriate or something.... :roll: anyways, i'm bushed... :D

I started my job last Friday, but for now it's part-time. They will call me whenever they need me to come in. So far I've worked twice and I work again tomorrow. My job is a lot of filing also and I got tones of papercuts :(

Monday night til Tuesday I went to London to visit Western with a friend of mine. I've never been before and it was really nice. I was impressed with how thorough the tour of the campus was. I don't know if I would go there though. It seems a little snobbish. :shrug:

hehehe....yeah..new clothes, i'm going this weekend... i just got back actually... i went to dinner with my cousin and his co-workers...that was so weird..they're all like 30 and i'm 18!! hehehe... but my mom yelled at me for not wearing the proper clothes, so she gave me some of her work clothes but their huge!!!!! so, i just bought a two skirts and a black pair of pants on tuesday night..hehe :D

My cousin is coming to stay with us for Passover and it's around that time so everyone might go. A friend of mine went to Carleton yesterday and I am seeing her tomorrow night so I will ask her about it.

I am working tomorrow SATURDAY but that's ok because I offered to work and I really want the money. I am kinda confused about what I should wear to my office. The Wedge is the best show on Muchmusic. Too bad it's on at such a shitty time, who the hell is home on Friday nights (well I am often :roll: ) but if I'm not I try to remember to tape it. It's so good because they play so much stuff that NEVER gets play on the radio. I wish their was a radio show that played music like The Wedge does. That's how I find out about a lot of the stuff I listen to is through the Wedge. You went to Ottawa and Montreal?! How was it?

My job is fine, it's really busy now and I work a lot which is fine, just I don't get to come here as much or talk to the people I like talking to because I get home pretty late, but I'll live. Everyone is really nice and it's a pretty laid back atmosphere, and it is really flexible for me which I really like. I am given work to do and I just need to be there for as long as it takes to get done.

Yeah i went to Ottawa and Montreal.. My friend Jack wanted to visit University of Ottawa so we got there on Thursday and did that..then we stayed in ottawa over night and took the train to MOntreal the next morning. Montreal was CRAZY!!!!!! A lot of shopping, a lot of clubbing!! Lots of fun..i got back on Sunday and it was great...

University of Ottawa is pretty good, but some buildings are ugly and dirty.hehehe...

That's pretty good that the train was empty, as long as you got seats together that's the most important thing. I think it costs almost the same from here to Ottawa by train as here to Montreal.
