My friend Bebe came back from the beach yesterday and I invited her over to watch HAARP (she's the girl who likes a few of Muse's songs, but not all of them). We were watching the INtro when my brother walked in and went "What's this?" and I'm like "HAARP" and he goes "What the hell is that?", I just said "It's Muse" and he's like "Oooo yeah" and sits down to watch it.

We watch the intire intro, my borther seemed facinated that they came up through the floor of the stadium, we then watch Knights and SMBH...but then my bro had to go do something else :(

I think I managed to convert him to Muse as well...that's now a total of three people I've managed to convert over to Muse :D

it's pretty involved process if you do not know what a torrent is. I would suggest googling "what are torrents" for starters and read up first. The torrent site I got this show from, DIMEadozen.org is hard to get a account with. If there is space availablity then you can register for a account there otherwise you will have search other torrent sites and see if the show is there.

I think for now you should go to muselive and download the mp3s of the full show from there. Here is the link to the mp3s for this show: http://muselive.com/forums.php?m=posts&q=30882

just register there first before you download those files if you are not a member. It's free...

hope this helps. If you really want to know about how to download torrents PM me after you have read up on what they are. I am sorry I am not explaining it all to you here but to be honest I don't have the time to type everything you need to know in a post. Like I said it's too involved.

I downloaded HAARP and the video quality is amazing and the concert is great. Seeing it on YouTube dosent justify the DVD. Its great and a great gig!!

Hey all. I'm a huge Muse fan (supermassive, even? :P) and I'm super-excited to be here. I have all their albums and I love every single one of them.

Since this thread is over 700 pages long (WOW), I'm not really gonna read through all of them, so I'm sorry if this has been brought up earlier, but maybe all you UK'ers know more about this than an American like myself...but here goes...

What do we know about LP5? I read/listened to an XFM interview where Chris says they haven't started laying down tracks yet, but I had also heard a local DJ say something about how they're writing songs and just haven't actually recorded them? I don't know for sure...so many conflicting reports! Anyway, I'd also heard that the album might come out it 2008?

Just wondering what you all have heard about the album. Thanks!

Muse want to just release singles and best of's, they said in that interview however it depends on how open minded their publishers are.

In the new Q magazine Muse revealed they have got some stuff down in the studio, a 10 minute long song for one, more bass driven songs and attempts at new genres. They didn't say when its due or how its going to be released, because they don't know yet!

I always thought it was funny a lot of Coldplay fans also like Muse. I'm also one, I got into both bands around the same time, they were my introductions to "modern rock" music. Both are insanely different, but both are amazing. I saw these guys live last year and I don't expect anyone to be as brilliant or as perfectly tight as they were. Probably the best rock band in the world at the moment. Can't even pick a favorite album... all are good in some way.

The new leaked demos from '96-'97 are impressive too.

New member, never heard of Muse, started listening cus of this board...sounds and awful lot like me 7 months ago :D

I'd start with either OoS or Showbiz, cus that way you get to hear the really heavy Muse and the softer muse in one album. Then it depends what music you like, if you're not into heavy, BHAR should be right up your alley, but if you are, Absolution should be your type of music...

in my opinion go OoS, BHAR, Absolution, Showbiz and then work your way through B-sides
