Am I the only one whose leaked versions were the same as the album versions on myspace?!?! :o

they are the same versions of the songs just the leaked songs were in mono and not very good quality .. if you compare them you can hear more background noises and background vocals on myspace :)

I actually meant the quality. Mine are as clear as the ones on myspace. Like even the little effects in starlight are as clear on my leaked versions. I was so confused when people were saying about the quality of the mono ones because I was under the impression that we all had the same versions, but my friend sent me invincible and the quality of that was poorer than the other songs I had :thinking:

That gig was AMAZING!!!!!!
I'm still in shock from how awesome it was, it must of been just over 500 people there! So intimate, and the new songs sounded so good! I was in the middle of the right hand side, inline with the beardy Chris.
I cannot wait until they tour...I'll definatly be seeing them again soon

i saw it on mtv it looked brilliant :) ... how jealous i was! unfortunately they only showed Starlight, Plug In Baby, Soldier's Poem, Stockholm Syndrome, Invincible, Supermassive Black Hole, Hysteria, Time Is Running Out & Knights of Cydonia which was a little disappointing .. but from what i saw it looked amazing!

i would have loved to see Assassin played live .. you hadn't heard the new songs had you? what do you think of them live?

They were amazing, Knights of Cydonia left me speechless...it was the way the crowd just sang along to the bridge...it's just...it's something you have to hear for real to understand.

Muse's next single will be Starlight ...

'Muse are once again working with David Slade on the new video for 'Starlight' the next single of Black Holes & Revelations. Shooting for the video is expected to start late next month. Slade is aparrently planning what looks almost like a sequal video for 'Sing For Absolution'. Plans for the single's release is late August...'

Just got my copy of the new album (yes, i am well aware that i could've listened to it on their myspace page days ago, but i chose to wait for my copy to arrive instead :P). On first listen i'm loving City of Delusion, Hoodoo, Knights of Cydonia, Invincible.... heck just the whole thing! :laugh3:

I left for New Hampshire yesterday (where I am now :) ) so I burned myself a CD of the leaks and listened to it on the way up...6 times. This album is amazing, only my leaks are of relatively low quality (especially Hoodoo) so I cannot imagine what the real album is going to sound like. Overall I was stunned from the first strings of Take a Bow all the way to the bridge of Knights of Cydonia. It may now be my favorite Muse album so far, surpassing Origin of Symmetry (which is referenced quite a bit from Take a Bow's Space Dementia like sound effects to Bliss-like arpeggios and I think I heard an organ in Invincible) I'm far to subjective to give an unbiased review though. ;) Excellent work; well worth the 3 year break.

I have never seen them get this much publicity here..MySpace, record stores, photo shoots.. a bigger venue this time around as well.. when you think about it.. after Absolution, they officially released OOS here.. and I guess everyone saw how awesome they were... that they are prepping us for there big Black Holes and Revelations epic!!

But those of us who loved the band way before that know how exceptional they are... most of the US public is only just about to taste them..


I can't wait to see how they will really be received... the label is really pushing them here..

The opening track sounds exactly like something Muse would do, its like they've developed this very unique style that they've been marked with in their music, its amazing. My favourite songs are Map of the problematique and Knights of Cydonia, my least favourite songs are Invincible and Soldier's Poem.
