The info is inconclusive because on the Muse official site, it doesnt list the Toronto date along with the other Curiosa dates and Pollstar doesnt either. Ticketmaster does, etc.

Muse were excellent...possibley one of the best exists from a stage at any Glastonbury (I say naively)
Anyone else see It.?
I loved the way they carried on playing with just a drum kit of a snare, cymbal and bass drum.. :D
Professor Peedston
28-06-2004, 12:11 AM
I didn't see it, but I have a friend from England (Northampton I think) who's visiting here for a few weeks, and he was steaming mad at missing Glastonbury because the last few years he's worked there and gotten to see all the bands and such without buying a ticket.
I'll tell him it was good just to rub it in. :P

it's the best live performance I've seen from them. but one of the best ever Glastonbury sets? Not sure I agree on that.
I think the best performance I've seen of the weekend was Paul McCartney. Now that really was one of the best Glastonbury sets I've ever heard.

Holy fucking fuck
muse were totally incredible. i'm so proud of our boys
as matt said, it was the gig of their lifes. The setlist was just perfect, and they all got so much into the songs.
sing for absolution was absolutely brilliant, and when they played plug in baby, whoa, it was insane!
And the two or three piano interludes were so beautiful, especially when they put an image of the moon in the background.
Muse played the best concert of their lifes, and also the best gig I've ever seen, no doubt about it!
Yeah it was really good but I was a bit disappointed that they didn't play any new songs like they said they would but oh well maybe at the next few festivals :)
and they played the heartbreaker riff  :P
Valleyboy
28-06-2004, 01:45 AM
I said it in the muse thread and i'll say it again:
it was the best muse concert ever, and probably one of the best concerts i've ever seen.

It was soooooooooooooooooo amazzziinggg!!
I had heard Muse were fantabulous live and now I can't wait to see them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My favourite moments were when the crowd were singing along... gave me goosebumps!
Plug In Baby, Time Is Running Out, Bliss and Butterflies and Hurricanes were fantastic performances...
Actually I can't pick any favourites as it was all treeemendous
I think they should have played megalomania
It would have given that 'ok we're headlining glasto so fucking listen to our songs' type of feeling...or is that just me..?..   :sneaky:
I'll see you up front at oxegen so hayley?
One thing that seriously annoyed me though about it was at the start of new born when matt was playing the piano intro and the crowd were all clapping completely arse ways! It was all out of time
::Hayley::

you know, actually i think the setlist was perfect cos they played their most famous songs. And I'm sure there wouldnt be a lot of people singing along if they played like, falling away with you or microcuts, do you know what i mean?
But yea, it would be nice to hear uno though :/
BlissfullyMuse
29-06-2004, 07:48 AM

MUSE have pulled out of a gig in Italy after one of the band’s parents died on site at the GLASTONBURY FESTIVAL.
The band played their highest profile gig ever last night on the Pyramid Stage.
A spokesperson for the band has told NME.COM that drummer Dominic Howard’s father died shortly after the band’s set.
A statement issued to NME.COM reads: "It is with great sadness that we must announce that Mr Bill Howard, father of Muse drummer Dominic, died earlier today (Monday 28th June) at the Glastonbury Festival, a short time after the band’s headlining set.
"Mr Howard collapsed on site at 1.15am and died shortly after. Avon and Somerset Police are not treating the death as suspicious. In this dreadfully difficult time, we request that the privacy of Dom’s family and friends is respected. Our sincere and heartfelt sympathy extends to Dominic and the Howard family."
